The horror stream was deleted soon after posting. How did the detective watch it? Live? Did someone send him a copy?

Likely Rumble or Odyssey though it would be funny if it was the Farms.

@Null Heya, is it possible to go back and see if we had some new, sudden users from Keniyohi county in the day following the stream?

holy shit, that's extremely fucked up, leaving your kids to go fucking gambling AND doing drugs? None of the parents deserve custody

Call me a weird eurocuck, but I’ve spent a weekend by myself as a kid when I was 10-12. Don’t see the big deal especially as there is a 16 year old there and grandparents nearby.

Stuff like moving in the sideho into the house, pisses me off far more as well as the general neglect.

One thing that really makes me MATI is the general emotional neglect it seems these kids went through.

And sure, we don’t know everything. But we know how fucked up Rekietas schedule was. Why stream all night if you’re not trying to spend time away from your kids.

We’ve also seen he constantly talks about them as a burden and a source of stress.

It shows that he is willing to lie to police (and by implied extension, the courts), despite the potential legal consequences of the act.

Falsely reporting a crime has nothing to do with Nick lying about April. He wouldn’t be charged with that. It’s a stretch to imply he’d be charged with anything. It’s way too easy for them to say April was only staying there until she found her own place because divorce blah blah blah.

Most likely he was using the shell casing as a convenient container for sizing cocaine doses. (Cf. Aaron's 'couch story')
The “coke bullet” Aaron was talking about was one of these:

It’s basically a vial of coke you carry around when you want to snort some in the church parking lot.

sure, but that is kinda scummy shit, and this just looks in poor taste given what we already know about Balldo Man

I think the biggest problem was that the kids had basically been raised by the nanny and stay-at-home mom up until recently.

So when the nanny ditched and Kayla became nonfunctional, they had no caretaker and no idea what to do.

It’s a shame we don’t have an insider source in the community.

I’d love to hear their take on things.

i doubt it. following @Sheryl Nome's theory, i am thinking that he posted bond and kayla didn't because he has to drink and stream to work. that's exactly the sort of logic an unrepentant junkie would follow.
The problem with this theory (to someone who can think straight, anyway) is that he already said that he got rid of all the alcohol in the house. If he's still surrounded by bottles with a glass of whiskey in his hand on his first stream back, questions will be asked.

You're missing the point. According to Aaron, that specific trip was on Christmas eve. Instead of being home with their babies on Christmas eve, they went to the casino.

Aaron was going because he shares custody of his kids, and it was not his time. His kids were getting Christmas magic with their mom. Nick and Kayla sent his kids to the grandparents, and gave up that time.

Is posting Bond for Nick but not for Kayla his big brain move of dragging her under the bus.
Leave some coke unattended before she has to piss test, she snorts it, tests dirty and now has to depend on Nicky from inside the jail.
Consider that Nicholas Rekieta may not have had the resources to pool another $5,000 for his wife's bond.

Nick did not just post bond; he posted his $50,000 bond through a bond bail servicer. That meant he only had to put up probably only 10% of the bond or $5,000. It also took him almost an entire week from date of arrest.

If he had the money that many assume he has, he could have easily paid the $50,000 right away and without the leveraged assistance of a bond bail firm. He did not.

Instead it took him almost one week for....$5,000.

Ooff… That’s fucked up. How anyone could use a family holiday for degenerate swinging stuff is beyond me.

Guess I’m a prude.

If Nick had apologized and retracted his statement about Monty right at the start, he would have probably had that $100k sitting around that he could have used to bail the pair of them out.

Nah, only kidding. He would have spent that $100k on cocaine by now anyway.

It’s the swinging casino instead of Christmas with the kids and grandparents that is sus.

Nobody would blink twice if they went to see a movie. Even going out as adults and leaving the kids with grandparents is hardly remarkable except all the other stuff we know!

I don't think these documents were posted, but I may have missed it.

He needs to stream for income, but if he drinks on stream, he will self-incriminate like crazy.
Yup.

If he streams, look for a coffee mug, metal water bottle or Stanley cup. Alcoholics think they can disguise their drinking by not using a glass.

Nick may wish for Kayla to go to jail. He gets to continue with his wife swapping ways while she's locked up and can't get with anybody.
Or it could be a (retarded) ploy to "prove" the house is drug-free.
"See? Lady Rackets is pissing clean! We ain't got drugs in here!"
