I feel like a monumental faggot for asking this, but I've see it referenced a few times in the thread that one of the Rekieta kids asked one of the officers for/about clothes. I've read through the substantial documents and I don't remember seeing it. Anyone know which doc it was?

The only way I see any of the balldo washers cope of "it's a gov conspiracy!1!!". Is that the MN state police, MN CPS, and the Local sheriff's office all flat out lied in multiple documents with body cams rolling. These cops might not have the best pedigree in dealing with this kind of case. But from everything I've read (as a reasonable person assuming that the facts are true) is that they had every right to be there and arrest them. Honestly, I feel like they downplayed the state of the house and the how the kids looked.

I'm sure they could have gone for a page or two detailing the state of common areas and then particularly the kids living areas. They could have hammered home any comments the kiddos made while they were waiting for the grandparents to pick them up. I'm very curious to see the body cam footage (and potentially the interview) even if people's faces are blurred the audio of their interactions and of the state of the house will be damning enough.

It all depends on his choices and how the case goes. I've  hired lawyers with shadier pasts than Nick.

The "good ending" for Nick is that he and Kayla get probation, go to rehab, cut ties with the Imholtes, and reconciles with everyone he wronged.

I don't even think there's the problem of "he'll never be able to show his face in public again", certainly not with the church. I can't tell you how many times I've heard stories where there's some variation of "I was at my lowest point, then I finally (re)-committed my life to Jesus Christ and that's where I am today". (They love that stuff!)

Now, will Nick actually make the choices that will lead to all of this? Probably not, but it could happen.

The bail thing is interesting to me.

What normally happens with bail is you go to a bail bondsman, pay him 10% of the bail (it is his fee, you will never get it back). You will also have to put up collateral to cover the other 90% in case you flee. The bondsman determines what he will accept for collateral.

Nick won't have $100k laying around to post bail himself, but anyone could go to a bail bondsman w/money & collateral and post bonds for him. This obviously has not happened. It seems unlikely family is willing to stick their neck out for him.

Nick might have $10k in cash he could scrape together, but he might not have enough collateral.

Tl;dr Money problems and family isn't helping get Nick out on unconditional bond.

He has that second house that he just kicked the other family put of recently.

You need the case number. Based on statute, pending criminal harges do not come up by name search.

My rough calculations using Wikipedia's measurements for a .22LR cases and NIH estimates for cocaine density give the case a capacity of about 0.4g, of a hundredth of an ounce, of cocaine. For reference, a common 1/8 tsp measure would hold 0.6g.

I'm having a difficult time finding what a dose would be for someone like Nick, the former drug addicts in this thread can elaborate.

.22LR cases are small (0.613" case length and 0.226" neck diameter) and I've never in my life thought of an empty casing as something you could use to store or measure something, especially when 1/8th teaspoons exist, are more precise, and don't cause your coke to touch a case which is probably not super clean and non-toxic.
