If he stuck to just clearing his name about the THHE review than it would have been fine, and an easy way to "clap back" at trolls and clear his name. I found the article in question here, and it's simply a short article describing Spacey's acquittal and attempts at returning to public life. It is written entirely neutrally as a news piece, it doesn't "champion" or celebrate anything.

That he didn't read the headline much less the content of the article is baffling to me. But then he also called the thumbnail of a pedo getting blasted a 'fascist celebration of police murdering a scared man.'
