Careercow Donald J Trump - 45th/47th President of the USA, convicted felon, Epstein bro, Putin simp, serial liar, sore loser, cheat and the Chris-Chan of Presidents. THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL DEBATE THREAD.

FUN HISTORY LESSON:
Facing the rest of his life being mired in frivolous court battles, politically-driven imprisonment, and stripped of all rank and success, Julius Caesar took his army across the Rubicon, took Rome by threat of force and installed himself as dictator for life, emperor in all but name, and setting the foundation for Rome to become an empire.

It was these legal threats that spurred Caesar to cross the ruicon and made an amenable situation into open violence and the end of the republic.
Caesar was not the first threatened in such a way, nor the first to rule Rome as a self-appointed dictator, however he was the first to defeat it, and the result of weaponizing courts to ‘defend the republic’ was in fact the republic’s downfall.

None of this is relevant to today ofc tho Cheeto Hitler looks like a fish and democracy is saved from the drumpfing bad guys once again!
Donald Drumpf crossed the Potomac, followed by his loyal legions of rednecks, hispanic white nationalists and soccer moms.
The Democrats flee the east-coast to raise an army to defend the republic.
After a fierce battle, the west-coast army of troons, antifa and female white school teachers is defeated, Joe Biden goes to exile in Mexico and gets beheaded by a cartel.
A few years of dictarorship, a robed figure stabs Dictator Drumpf in the halls of the capitol. He sinks to the ground, in disbelief. His last words
Et tu... Jeb?

God bless this day. The amount of fucking seething is glorious and it'll be even more fun by November time!

We already have "RIGGER! EVIL RIGGERS!", "This is horrifying! The President has been convicted!" (Even though he's the former president and as per our constitution, nobody should be above the law LOL. Remember how it's always about Muh Constitution?) And we have Caesar quotes.

Fuck it'll be funny either way. If he loses? It's more rigger shit and election denialism.

If he wins? Convicted Drump has become president and now it'll be a bunch of cope about how he shouldn't be president/he owned the libs!

2024 is going to be a good year! Can't wait for 2028!

Did you campaign to be president and use campaign funds to pay hush money to a washed up porn star? And falsify documents to hide the fact?
Did you even watch the full trial, the Election Council and DOJ stated there was no fraud found last time they tried this, and even during this trial Cohen admitted to stealing from Trump org and writing fake invoices to pocket the money. If anything Cohen should be the one in the hot seat

Alright, fellas, here's my dream scenario. Trump goes to prison, can give phone interviews, but no video. Election day arrives. Trump wins in a landslide. January, 2025, the swearing in ceremony is held in the prison courtyard. Trump, in his first onscreen appearance in months, emerges from the prison. No longer is he orange, but normal coloured. Hair? Shaved to the scalp, his face adorned with a neatly trimmed beard. Maybe a scar over one eye, who knows? His baggy, orange jumpsuit swishes as he's lead up to the hastily erected podium. The moment he swears that oath, he drops the orange jumpsuit, revealing a neatly-tailored suit. But that's not all. He's shredded. Absolutely fucking yoked. Shoutout Big Tony for spotting him in the slammer. That's not a gay thing; Big Tony helped him work out. "For my first act as President, I hereby officially grant a pardon to... myself!" He declares. Suddenly, a chopper appears overhead, and drops a rope ladder. Trump climbs on, stares directly into the news camera, and says, "Don't worry, America, I'll save you. I will make you great again!" The chopper flies off, into the sunset, ready for a great four years

Well, that can of worms is opened, and now anyone can charge a president for crimes. I wonder what happens now? It will be very telling what politicians do and say within the next 48 hours after this. Political sperging will engulf social media, so it will be a shitshow for the next week or so.

Probably a good idea to keep an eye on some of the more nutty political cows, since this may cause them to go a bit more nuts then they already are.
He's not a sitting president at the moment. And if he did the crime, he should do the time. He also has the right to appeal, which I am sure he will be doing, so there's that.

I ain't reading all that

No I think you're mistaken this was a constitutionally valid jury trial in a western democracy with an enormous amount of outside scrutiny and a high burden of proof to overcome, not a 16th century witch burning. You're just mad that the guy you like turned out to be guilty as charged.
And that's the issue, they didn't. Even the fake news liberal propaganda outlets like CNN couldn't pretend it was a strong case nor that the evidence was compelling.

And if he was actually guilty then cool, but then they should've brought Hillary to court or Biden, but interestingly they never did despite their crimes being greater even if Trump is guilty. Almost like it's a transparently political hitjob or something.

What the fuck are you talking about "valid jury"? The jury wasn't given a single page of the 53 instructions during deliberations, and none of them had to even be unanimous for a conviction. This jury process was unprecedented in the hundreds of years of the system being in place in regards to it's rules. You can say you agree with the decision but to try and say it was a fair trial is silly as fuck
