I'd seen people talking about it here, but how bad is alcohol withdrawal? I thought people were just using euphemisms for "it's pretty painful", but is it life-threatening or something? I've never really been around heavy drinking.
Alcohol acts on your GABA receptors, which, as far as modern neuroscience understands, is used to inhibit signals in your brain, this is why alcohol and other GABA-interacting drugs like Xanax will make you calmer, because they literally make your brain less active.

But your brain adapts over time when you take substances (take caffeine for example), so, your brain adjusts over time to be less and less GABA sensitive, requiring more and more alcohol for the same high, until you pass the treshold of your brain being so GABA insensitive that, without alcohol to boost the signal, your brain's basically melting itself with how strong the signals are.

“Give a sixteen year old a plate of spaghettios and you feed him for a day. Teach a sixteen year old to heat up spaghettios and he can feed his family for a lifetime. (and you can go back to fucking his mom)” - Aaron Imholte, probably.

Was this oldest child also supposed to keep up with things like the six monthly dental check ups for all the other kids, vaccinations for the younger ones?
Stuff mothers take care of?
Orthodontic work that needs started in younger teenage years if you need teeth straightening that might now cost the kids in later life major cash to have to get fixed because it wasn’t started when it was easier to do.
All these little things people take for granted who don’t have parents zonked out of their heads taking care of them when they are growing up.

Its not just feeding, clothing, driving to school.

About an hour into the March 30th, 2024 The JACK Show, EVS downplays the situation by claiming that the nanny had been let go only a week prior to Nick's arrest and that as a result, the kids were just a bit dirty because they weren't used to taking care of themselves and that they were gonna have to pull themselves up by their bootstraps and start doing laundry (with the washer and dryer that was accessible only through their parents polycule sex room) and making themselves sandwiches (with the nonexistent bread, cheese, and ham in the empty fridge). It's not a big deal because it was only a week ago, right?

Problem with that is that the nanny got out of the picture at the very least a month and a half prior to Nick's arrest. According to Aaron Imholte on the March 26th? 27th? Kino Casino, the nanny skedaddled a few weeks before he did. When did Aaron and the Balldo Cult go their separate ways during April, exactly? I don't know, would appreciate if anyone could remind us all of when Aaron left the Balldo Polycule.

Man, some of these crazy Rekeita simps, are starting to post positive reviews for his law firm. Most likely trying to hedge the backlash if the body camera shows the little girl asking for clean clothes.

I look forward to the inevitable reviews talking about how its a great place to get smashed and bang a guy's wife.

I think what pisses me off most about the people who are blaming the children for not “stepping up” is that they are literally removing the adults from the equation.

Most children who find themselves in a situation where they have to watch their younger siblings/make easy dinner/move the laundry from washer to dryer/whatever the fuck do so out of necessity. What I mean by necessity is that maybe the parents are working long hours, mom just had a new baby, etc. This is a situation where there were FOUR FUCKING ADULTS (before Aaron tapped out) in the home with them. Before the arrest, THREE adults—none of them with anything that required them to leave the home (like a job) or severe disabilities/injuries that prevented them from caring for the children.

Expecting even a 16 year old to take care of his younger siblings with three able bodied adults in the home is fucking insane.

Not only that, but kids don’t magically know how to do laundry or cook or literally anything if their parents don’t teach them. Kayla and Nick were content with the Nanny doing absolutely everything for them, despite them being home all day. Do you really think they taught their children how to do these things? I seriously doubt it. And even if they did, they were in the home all goddamn day and could have done it themselves, which is their job, as parents. You have to be scum of the earth to blame the kids.

I can't recall the "worst day ever" clip in detail, but is it possible Nick was just having yet another liquor/drug induced schizo moment, and nothing that special actually happened besides that him and Kayla had another tard fight or something? Everyone assumes it must have been something really crazy that triggered him to say that.
Pretty sure the worst day ever is Kayla wanting to open up the marriage. *or* the prudes firing him from teaching.
How much would you bet that Nick is drunk at this very moment right now.
That's Nick's super power. He's always drunk.
"The laundry unit is in the master bedroom, where April sleeps. She won't let us in. She is very unstable. If we make any noise she becomes extremely violent. She gave me this black eye when I tried to vacuum yesterday. She also caused these injuries to my arms. My wife is so stressed out that she looks like she has been smoking crack for 10 years. Please help us get this unstable woman out of our home. You may need to use lethal force. She has one of my guns."

"We are afraid to leave April home alone with our kids."
:texts April:
"Grab the gun under the bed and charge into the living room. Someone is trying to steal our stash."

During his appearance on Kino Casino, I believe Aaron repeatedly mentioned having left the Rekieta swinging scene seven weeks prior.

So that would be sometime between the first and second weeks of April.

The funniest part is that it probably infuriates Nick how his defenders tacitly admit he's an alchoholic cokehead swinger. I guarantee a lot of his defenders are getting angry private messages from Nick saying, "Oh my fucking christ, LITERALLY ZERO of that is true!"
Correct.

Some of them don't even tacitly admit it, but directly admit it to varying degrees. You have to go to his Locals to get the super crazy people that insist none of it is true, and he's a saint.

He wants to get out from under this completely, with no consequences or obligations for him. He's not. Whether that eventually dawns on him remains to be seen.

Well, that's absolute bullshit.

She might have actually been gone before then even. We were discussing the nanny being gone in the months leading up to the arrest. Nick seemed to allude to her being gone a couple of times. @Balldo's Gate might remember when that first happened. The thread is so ridiculous huge now, it practically needs an index.

Either way, EVS is very definitely full of shit. They were not without a nanny for only a week.

Ok, people asked for shit that might break up the depressing kiddie talk. I'll be the one to deliver:

How will the Balldoverse react to the Trump verdict? I bet you money that Nick Grift has one finger on that stream button, deluded by whatever is currently in his system that this is the boogaloo and thus his opportunity to score a Rittenhouse 2.0. That would be absolutely fucking hilarious, I can only hope I'm correct.

The other balldowashers will seethe about it in comedic ways for sure, but ofc it won't be the cinema that Nick doing it himself would be.

There's also the fact that most 16 year olds who could deal with that were brought up dealing with that. Helping with laundry and cooking from an early age because dad's down the mine and mom is growing the food, so the training starts as soon as you can walk.

From what I can gather, Nick barely showed up to court and Kayla did fuck all, and they still needed a nanny because these useless fucks can't function as adults without help.

What fucking home skills are they going to pass on to the kids? How to collect superchats? How to find star trek on streaming?

Hopefully the kids are doing better now. At least they were smart enough to ask for help, which is more their worthless parents.

Judging by their reaction to Nick’s arrest, they will take it as further evidence there is a mass judicial conspiracy against the trad saviors of our country. Because I’m sure the system just really needed to get rid of the pathetic alcoholic pseudo lawyer…for reasons.

What's amazing to me comes from the level of leniency people are willing to give Nick. If Nick showed even the slightest bit of contrition, for some reason, a good number of people on the web—maybe even a majority—apparently would be willing to let him back into their good graces. All Nick would need to do would be not act like a belligerent jackass, stay off drugs, and the ball washers would be happy to continue worshipping the Balldo.

Even with felony drug charges and child abuse, Nick gets life on easy mode, and he still manages to fuck it up.

I am a 50 pages behind, has this been brought up yet?

Gundam: I know steel toe because he's like doing stuff on DSP for five minutes. And then he kind of fell off I never heard it from him again. And then this stuff started firing off and shit like that. I know Nick R was swinging for years. I think it's been like four years I've known. and I know like I remember yellow flash saying he wasn't that cool with it. I can't 100% remember if he said that I'm kind of I'm in and out of these streams everybody's talking and I'm over here like yeah yeah yeah you know pretending like I'm paying attention I don't fuckin' remember. And I just thought to myself like why is it a big deal if Nick Rita swings who gives a shit if he's boning a couple chicks I don't give a rat's ass. Kirsche: I mean it's kind of hella degenerate to be fair. Gundam: We're all degenerates here for God's sakes.

In what world is a 16 year old expected to raise 4 kids and go to school so 2 jobless adults can snort coke and have orgies? Fuck anyone that has higher expectations for a minor than a non-practicing attorney. Even if the kid wanted to how the fuck was he supposed to buy food to cook, was he expected to have an after school job too?

huh i kinda like gundam

the issue with that take is that there are other people like kids involved.

if the rekita went to aarons house, or just took a 2 week vacation to those kinda places i d see it

but thats far away from fucking coke and child neglect

He still deserves a chance. But only if he makes the decision to save himself. If he makes the decision tomorrow or in five years, he deserves the help (from his parents) and the support of everyone else to do it. But nobody can make him and nobody can do it for him.

Right now, he is so messed up that even after losing everything he can't even admit that he has a problem.
That's the thing though he hasn't lost everything. Nick has a lot left to lose.

- his family even tho they're temporarily at the grandparents he still has his wife. Until she divorce rapes him, takes the kids and goes to live with cuck janny Aaron who will feed them the finest of cope and spaghetti-os.

- still has his freedom

- his house and trust

- and swarm of window lickers ready to wet their tongues up Nick's ass.
