It's basically trying to will shit into existence by altering language to do it. If you believe and repeat the lie hard enough it becomes truth type thing.

If you feel up for it there is like 6 hours of stuff that kinda gets in depth with how it works.

It's just magical thinking; if you believe hard enough it becomes true. It's the same sort of stuff like in comics where gods exist because they're believed in, as opposed to being independent.

I am just stating the true ultimate purpose. If nothing is independent of belief, then there is nothing independent of you that can exercise absolute judgment over what you have or have not done. It's supreme narcissism.

College Republicans (and Young Republicans by extension) have been approval-seeking, decorum-obsessed controlled opposition since at LEAST the days of Reagan, if not before. This is exactly how I'd expect them to respond to Trump's conviction and it's not a reflection of the colleges themselves corrupting them, it's a reflection of the type of young right-winger who is oppositional enough to get that way but not enough to also have just as many problems with Republicans as they do with Democrats.

There is more stuff to it, like destroying the original thing and making fake copies of what it once was too. It is just magical thinking, but there is a weird logic to it that gives you some insight into why they do things the way they do.
