In Dan's case he's not really defending Sarah Nyberg because she's a pedophile, he's defending her because she's trans/anti-gg. The fact she's a pedophile is just an inconvenient truth to him. If she was pro-gg he'd be down on her like a tonne of bricks. Whatever Dan is he's not a proper pedo white knight. He's denounced Woody Allen for pedophillia. Also, the 8chan incident was just him being a massive idiot in an attempt to gain brownie points with his SJW buddies. He's no pedophile himself either.

Although make no mistake, there are SJWs out there who defend pedos. It's based on the misguided logic that pedos have no choice since they were born with the urges they have. However true that may be, it doesn't change the fact that innocent children have to suffer to satisfy their urges.

There's still a qualitative difference between defending pedophiles in the abstract, as it isn't illegal to have a mental disorder while not acting on it, and actively defending someone who openly distributed CP for years as well as distributing lewd pictures of his own relative.
