I'm the only one I can think of who fairly routinely calls people degenerates and yes it is a semi-ironic reference to the /pol/ fondness for the term. Only occasionally, with "people" like Cockria, am I completely unironic about the use of the term.
The idea that Dan can compare our userbase with his fickle lazy array of pedo-supporting reprobates is pretty lulzy. I think /cow/ has a header extorting to 'fight degeneracy' but here we typically use a skin of irony. If you actively hate lolcows you start turning in to one yourself, frankly.
