There wasn't (probably) a trust fund from the start, but there was lots of money subsidizing Nick and Kayla coming in from somewhere from the start of the marriage. When you look at the houses they were living in after they got married and you look at her not working at all from the very start, things just don't add up financially. There had to be money coming in to support them because they couldn't live like that on Nick's income alone.

She seems in college to be a woman looking for MRS degree and lots of children. I mean when Nick graduated, she quit college without finishing.

You know I can't believe I'm saying this, but no. I meant BEFORE any of the drugs. Looking at their wedding photos is really astounding. Kayla looks closer to how she did now compared to when we first saw her. If I channel my inner gooner hard enough, I almost sort of understand Nick's "her body is ruined" comments. Kayla's wedding photos and her first appearance on stream almost look like two completely different women. I wouldn't recognize either of them unless you told me.
