i mean, it's the first filing, and it really doesn't matter. for all we (or nick) knows, judge fischer would have been better than the current guy. i'm really not reading too much into this late filing. he made it, and got the judge changed. nothing else really matters, and even changing the judge might not matter. You need to lurk more or you would see parallels with Ty Beard.
Filing at the absolute last minute with document errors is not a wise course of action. Or are you telling me that procrastinating is a good strategy?
I was one who would constantly submit college papers at the last minute, Nick is playing a foolish game of brinkmanship with himself with court documents.
spelling errors are indeed somewhat decent evidence of intoxication. i'll grant that.the few screenshots we have of longer posts hes made on locals show a few spelling and grammatical errors, but otherwise yes, youre right. We dont *know* hes been drinking because we're not standing over his shoulder watching him. We can make the inference that he is, because hes an addict that is so far unrepentant about his actions. Considering hes a lawyer he should know that anything he puts out on social media CAN and WILL be used against him in a court of law, especially if he makes a statement about the facts of a case (he made several about the firearms in his house). He must know this considering the police basically admitted they were watching his online activity. If he were just radio silent I would have more hope hes cleaning up his act, but rather than being repentant hes actively making an ass of himself on the online. He also made a statement that he didnt dump all his booze and gave it to "a good home". Yeah, right. An alcy dumping booze is no indicator he'll get clean, but giving it away? Come on now. From what I remember, addicts are notorious in their generosity, especially when youve spent a year and change in a bottle.
also there are 2 different things you might be conflating. i'm not saying that he's sober and cleaning up his act or being repentant. of course he isn't doing the second thing. but i would absolutely believe that he is being spitefully sober while planning his grand (and sober; no more alcohol theme) return to prove all the haters wrong. it's called being "dry drunk", where you cut out the alcohol but leave all the other toxic traits that lead you to alcoholism untouched. he will very likely relapse. it's just a matter of time. but i think it's just as likely as him continuing to drink.
