I've seen some people trying the Helldivers 2 approach by downvoting the game on steam as a boycott, problem is when I look at the reviews I also see people upvoting the game with #FixTF2. They can't even do that right.

had a silly thought about it recently, beyond the redditors spamming the "sign the petition" mantra ad nauseam, the grifters trying to make a profit out of it, and tf2tubers being themselves, how much of it is actually boosted by "human" beings?

i've seen plenty of players with a functioning brain figure out instantly that this entire thing is a complete and utter joke, yet this activity makes me believe that the already mentioned suspects use the same means they complain about to boost this entire movement into a momentary relevance.
