it can be done with .45 colt too, but not with the powderpuff BP loads people like to shoot these days. a full charge of 40 grains of FFG or FFFG and a 250 gr or higher projectile seals the chamber quite well. a powder compression die makes it easier but is not absolutely necessary.

In war it helps if the other side feels safe surrendering. The British Army was an underforming shit show at times during WWII but they had a reputation that meant they often encountered individual desertions and mass surrenders. German and Italian POW's as well as being a major intel source also worked as cheap and highly efficient labour in the UK and the colonies. .

No idea if they're aware of his other hobbies and opinions, or if they do and they're A-Ok with them. TBF Karl does know a lot about Old West history and firearms - its just colored by his leftoid worldview and selective ethics.

Irange's best content was running old gear in matches. My favorite video they ever put out was a Mosin/Nagant revolver vs Trapdoor/colt SAA 2 gun match. unfortunately its been deleted since. it was one of the first videos they did IIRC.
