Nice NES power set. Is Nick really playing NES games on his spare time?
He played Battletoads (and I think a few other games) with Drex on the famous 24hr stream. Has an Everdrive with (I think) a full romset. I was actually impressed he prefers real hardware. I was more impressed that he and Drex can beat Battletoads (that is a hard ass game).

2019 Nick seemed so wholesome. Oh well.

ewwwwww.jpg

Curiously, there appears to be a rag on his desk, but he did not use it to clean the bottles. Loads of dust and general dirt around, so it did not function as a cleaning cloth.

the implications are fucking gross, but then, so is Nick

Do they really put that much effort into cases like this? I thought they could just present evidence and had a judge decide, depending on how pleas go. Like if they focus on the drug charges they don’t need Aaron to confirm he uses drugs, they have that evidence already. Not saying this will go that way, I just thought it was a possibility. Or if they get April to say what they want, they might not use Aaron. Not a lawfag unfortunately so can’t be sure, but I know some cases go that way.
Im going to guess if ricky doesnt plead out this is going to be one of their biggest (and most well known) cases that theyve ever had. I imagine any DA, especially one that sounds really young like this one does, would be salivating to take this to trial just for the reputational boost.

For people that rarely play retro systems, at least older ones, pc emulation is fine. Tail end of retro though, like a Dreamcast, is much better with original hardware.

The expandable carts are the way to go for original hardware. I have an fxpak pro for snes. Love that thing. You can buy cheap optical drive emulators for the cd and dvd based systems too.

Well hey, Drex needed SOMETHING to wipe Our Wife's vaginal fluids off his hands.

Aaron being retarded is the least surprising part of this saga.

I've become quite fond of Aaron over the last week or two.

Yes, he's obviously not the smartest guy in the world, and sure, he got sucked into engaging in cuckoldry -- and it was Nick fucking Rekieta who was banging his wife, but I actually find him quite credible when he talks about his experiences with Nick and Kayla. He just comes across as utterly guileless to me. If he was going to lie, he'd attempt to make himself look a bit cooler or a bit less stupid. I'm sure there's a whole load of stuff that he's hilding back, but when he does respond to questions and give his account, he seems to be to be doing so in a truthful manner.

He also seems to be the only one in that little polycule who recognized how fucked up the whole thing wass. Listening to him talking about how Kayla wanted them all to move in together and raise the kids collectively -- anything to avoid taking care of them herself, it seems -- when he talks about how he had an ex-wife and that shit wasn't going to fly with her, the problems of explaining it all to friend and parents and what have you -- all of that rings completely true to me. Those are the immediate issues you'd be confronted with if you were in that situation. It's unfathomable to me that Nick and Kayla thought that they'd be able to carry on in such a fashion, presumably while continuing to lie to his audience, their family, etc. etc.

It was obvious to anyone who has been around heavy end cocaine and alcohol use that the wheels were coming off the wagon. It would inevitably be sooner rather than later, that they found themselves in a life ruining situation. I think it was luck rather than good judgement that let Aaron get out while the going was good, but I'm not mad about that. We could all use a bit of luck in our lives when it's all turning to shit.

the county only has 40,000 residents unlike the twin cities this is probably a big case for them and they can focus on it more than if he was in Minneapolis.

I've often heard people say Nick streams in his basement, but I've also heard him say he's in a vault (and it's hot as fuck in there).
Maybe it's just me being confused, but just in case other people were confused like me, this clears it up.
The zillow pics seem to show that he's in the vault in the downstairs library, not in the basement:

I HATE TO ADMIT IT, but I am too.

And his ex-wife. I think she gave him an ultimatum about April, especially with her going to court to obtain an order AGAINST HER so she could not drive their kids around. Either way, I kind of agree with the Elissa Clips from TISM that he was kind of groomed into the situation and had stars in his eyes associating with Nick.

I tend to think whatever was going on with April started wayyyyyy before they brought Aaron into it and he was only brought in because Nick and April were getting a bit too close for Kayla’s comfort.

Nah, they've got a straight up murder case going on right now:

And a drive-by shooting/attempted murder:

In fact, they've had a few homicides over the years.

I don't think Nick would be close to their biggest case. It might prove to be the most entertaining though.

I count what looks to be at least 8, maybe 9 bottles of hard liquor. It's possible it's 10. I guess we solved what the "bottle clanking" noises were. That is A LOT of booze. Either Nick is drinking that much, that quickly or he's terribly lazy.
The bottles in the background appear to be empty. Nick keeps the bottles with actual alcohol in them to the left of his chair, just out of frame of that picture, for easy access while on stream.

In May 2023, Nick showed off every bottle he had within arm's reach. By my count it was 25 bottles within arm's reach with 9 bottles mentioned but not shown on camera. From Nick's kitchen streams we also saw that he kept multiple bottles of whiskey on the kitchen counter.
Note: the bottle count from the "within arm's reach" clip of 23 bottles of liquor plus 6 off camera is actually an underestimate. The clip was getting very long as it was, but if you go through the spoiler and click through to my clip of the stream from several months ago, he goes through more bottles afterwards, displaying two more bottles and mentioning three bottles of Boss Hog whiskey. That makes the total by my count is 25 bottles plus 9 mentioned but not shown on camera. He concludes the clip by drinking out of the 25th bottle.
