Not Just Bikes / r/fuckcars / Urbanists / New Urbanism / Car-Free / Anti-Car - People and grifters who hate personal transport, freedom, cars, roads, suburbs, and are obsessed with city planning and urban design

Pretty sure that for disabled people who cannot drive there's going to be a subsidized "dial-a-bus" type system that will take you directly from point A to point B.
Not good enough:

But climbing into a bus or train with hundreds of strangers would be just fine.

Move you faggot lesbian bitch!

If this person's this much of a spastic (I doubt it) then the last thing I would want in my commute is a schizophrenic having an episode in a train.

Thanks for proving why everyone should avoid public transit if they can avoid it, dipshit.

How's everyone liking their Ferraris?

These neighborhoods aren't much louder than a normal suburban neighborhood because the only people flying are the residents and (rarely) their guests.

I had a cousin who lived in one of these right outside of Houston in Friendswood. Lovely neighborhood. Very safe. No cyclists, because it’s too expensive for poor people.

I don't quite understand why they hate cars, when they're really just upset at their own incapability of operating one. Eventually autonomous vehicles will become so much better than human drivers that no one who isn't performing some kind of specialty job will actually need to drive. I'm curious how they'll be able to justify their idiotic hatred when that becomes the new reality.

On another note, there's an article in A&H about NY governor Hochul doing to last minute plug pull on implementing congestion pricing in NYC. In post, @quaawaa compiled screenshots of people bitching on Reddit that features a lot of posters from r/fuckcars and other bughive subreddits.

My completely uneducated guess about the congestion pricing thing is it was determined that people driving into the city would sooner move out of the state entirely than pay extra for the privilege to enter said city, thus either nullifying the perceived increase in funds or even causing an outright net negative for the economy as a whole.

Anywho, Twitter's seething too:
