One Piece - I'm Gonna Be the Pirate King!

If it turns out to have been one of those de-extinction hubs that was run by MADS or from the Void Century...
Dorry and Brogy were there for 100 years, predating MADS.

Also reminder in that same arc we found out one of the islands in the Grand Line was nothing more than a giant goldfish turd.

OK, so speculation. We know what a Pluto is, we now what a Poseidon is, but we don't know what Uranus is!

So. I can see it either being under the power of the World Goverment and it's what causes the infinite craters. But I'd rather think it's something farther off and that we know is there but hasn't been referenced in a ton of years.

My take is that Uranus is the moon, or in the moon, and that Enel unwittingly has gotten a hold of it without an idea of what the hell it even does. Would give an excuse to travel to the moon, Luffy with cartoon physics should be able to prep something up to get there and really, I just want to see Enel again and see the moon civilization setup have a payoff.

Am I retarded? Any other weird takes about Uranus? Lurking I've seen some long standing theories about the 3 great weapons being used to destroy the Red Line and connect all of the oceans. I've also seen suggestions that Roger "came too early" since Shirahoshi was not even born and was a key piece to it all.

So lets grab our aluminum foil hats and share your weird ass ideas of where we are headed.

I think that Imus weapon is a 4th ancient weapon. It doesnt make sense to me that joy boy would want something that is actively sinking the world to be used.

Agreed, though it has been 800 years, more than enough time for Imus to have gotten it? So maybe in the same way it can "SMASH" something into a void, it can raise it up?

Though I still prefer my moon take, I'm not completely closed to Uranus just being in the WG's hands.

my current stance is that there are the 3 that Crocodile told us of, and then one more that Imu has but couldnt power until York stole the flame to power.

i figured imu has uranus and is using the stolen part of the mother flame to power it.

however i think it would be interesting if uranus is actually inside the red line which is why its so strong and cannot be destroyed.

I mean, world sinks, infinite freedom for all. After all, Joy Boy is best friend with a Mermaid that can drown the world if she gets even slightly upset.

I am all for Joy Boy wanting to sink the world and that not being a bad thing.

And then Imu comes along and decides to use it as a targeted threat to keep control

That's an intetesting idea. I kind of had the idea that Poseidon being the sea kings Uranus could be related to the sky, but nothing says it can't be buried or sealed there.

Somebody is sounding like a fishman supremacist here... huh Hody?!

Shit jokes aside, people can live in fishman island... but it would still basically be separated "islands" wherever big air bubbles can be set up. Doesn't really seem like the plan unless air pockets at the bottom increase by a lot.

this makes me wonder if this is a situation in which imu and joy boy both wanted to unite everyone but had a disagreement as to the way to do it. think of it like luffy and blackbeard. both of them want to be king of the pirates but they have very different views on what they must do to get to that point.

imu wants to unite the world by control and joy boy wanted to unite everyone by giving them the freedom to go wherever they desired.

this could even be where the legend of the all blue comes from. maybe joy boy talked about a future where all the seas were connected and imu took that as "flood the world"

Vegapunk going ‘it was all a battle of ideals and I can’t tell you who was wrong’ coupled with the ‘i can’t tell you their reasons’ and Roger’s crew laughing..,

I’m almost convinced it was the same goal with different solutions.

It would fit the whole Blackbeard/Luffy paralells as well.

I could totally see that. It’s a very Luffy answer to how to connect the sea. And then everyone is like ‘oh yeah…people…oh dear..stop!’
