Get a couple young cats. I used to have stuff on my desk but my cats didn't like the clutter and swat everything on top of the desk onto the floor. They liked my spudgers so much they got them out of the packaging and scattered them all over the house. And I mean all over.

Can anyone explain to me why you Burgers carpet your floors? I'm getting a rash just thinking about everything that goes into it, especially if you have pets at home. At least with a rug you can roll it and take it to cleaners', with a carpet everything just gets caked into it.

They're called vacuums and steamers. Having carpet in a bedroom is wonderful.

I've lived outside of the US and hardwood, tile, laminate, and cement floors suck for bedroom use imo.
