Sometimes there's so much beauty in the world I feel I can't take it...

Imagine the same man wanting a tree cut down on his property and being so stubborn that he gets a tiny pussy axe and goes and wails on said tree for hours, and hours on end just to spite everyone that fucking told him to just buy a chainsaw or hire someone to do it. This silly man actually broke out into hives because he is allergic to being hot. You cannot make this shit up! He takes medicine for it now (an injection every so often).

You'd think someone like Nick would do everything they can to avoid Hell when they literally have a heat allergy!

CORRECTION:

The "second penalty" in both cases refers to the fact that they charged him extra for not paying the court fines. Meaning in both cases he was charged three times because he failed to pay the original fine two times

Can the court do anything with the information that he can post 5k bail within 48 hours but refuses to pay fees?

@Null
This feature is inaccurate and should be corrected. Nick was NOT convicted of a misdemeanor:

"Nick Rekieta has been convicted of two petty misdemeanors and a misdemeanor for two separate traffic incidents, which he failed to appear and contest."

He was convicted of 2 petty misdemeanors after being stopped for speeding in March 2024, and 1 petty misdemeanor after being stopped for speeding in April 2023. These are traffic tickets.

1. Nick was stopped for speeding at 6:17pm going 85 in a 65mph zone on Hwy 71 in Willmar on March 23 2024. He was charged with speeding (petty misdemeanor) and expired registration (misdemeanor)

However, according to the documents filed in the case, Kandiyohi County has a standing policy of dropping things that could be petty misdemeanors (such as expired registration) from misdemeanors to petty misdemeanors, when possible.

As such, he was auto-convicted, due to failure to respond, of two petty misdemeanors for speeding and expired registration which he hasn't paid yet. He was not convicted of a misdemeanor.

2. The third petty misdemeanor is over a year old and came from the first speeding ticket, from April 15 2023, and was posted about in June 2023 after it was brought up by a Locals member during one of his streams. Nick was stopped going 81 in a 65 on the same highway very close to his later speeding ticket.

It was at 6:44am on a Saturday a little over three hours after his Friday stream.

He was auto-convicted like the more recent speeding ticket, but he eventually paid after getting hit with late charges.

- Nick got a speeding ticket but weirdly, someone in chat brought it up.
The Minnesota State Patrol officer wrote that he stopped Rekieta in Willmar at 6:44am on April 15 after his radar clocked Nick at 81mph in a 65mph zone in "raining wet cloudy" conditions. According to the document, Nick told the officer that he was driving to "bring [his] child to [a] speech meet".

The document also states that Nick also said that he "did not know he was going that fast" and that he "wasn't paying attention".

Nick was issued a citation for going 80 in a 65. He was driving in his red 2022 Ford Mustang with license plate "LAWPOPE".

he got caught speeding on 03/23/2024 and also had expired registration on top of that. filed into the sytem on 3/26/2024. His court date was 04/25/2024.
Does anyone remember how Nick used to boast how easily he got out of speeding tickets? It was before the cuckening. How he'd contest the ticket, demand calibration data for the lidar guns, etc, and the municipality would drop the case because of the expense involved to prosecute over a $150 ticket.

I think Welper is talking about his driver's license. Not his law one.
Silly on me. Edited my post.

Nick must be the worst lawyer ever. Never does any cases and can't do the bare minimum for himself.
And despite that he's representing himself in a drug and weapons possession case where the state has him dead to rights. I am excited.

Whore.

Welp looks like Nicks collecting misdemeanors and crimes like Pokemon cards, what’s next on the docket? Naked public autoerotic asphyxiation?
He's gotta catch 'em all, and he's working very fast to collect them all.

The men that women find attractive has always been a source of some mystification to me. I remember when my then girlfriend told me she thought Robbie Coltrane was hot, back when he was appearing in Cracker.

I could see liking him as an actor. I could see being attracted to him because of his charisma. But hot? Really? She was utterly sincere about finding him -- a big fat man -- physically attractive. I still have lingering doubts that she wasn't just attracted to his personality and his acting skills and somehow managed to convert that into her finding him physically attractive. But she swore this wasn't the case, and she was much cleverer and more self-reflective than I could ever be, so who am I to doubt her claims?

But it still mystifies me.

I can kinda see it. His face is symmetrical, his eyes are the right distance apart, and he's got good genetics. Not all women like twinks.

Can anyone explain to me why you Burgers carpet your floors? I'm getting a rash just thinking about everything that goes into it, especially if you have pets at home. At least with a rug you can roll it and take it to cleaners', with a carpet everything just gets caked into it.
Originally, everything is hardwood. Rugs are expensive, but they are warmer/softer on bare feet, and an expensive rug looks nice. The bigger your rug, the more expensive it must be, so the nicer your house looks. Now, what if your rug was custom made to cover your entire floor? That's carpet, and it's the best rug. Carpet ends up becoming very cheap, but it's still more expensive than having bare wood. Except now, if your rug is permanently attached to your floor, you can cut a lot of cost by not having a hardwood floor, you can just put down whatever shitty cheap thing is available and then covering it with carpet. The unfinished flooring is standard regardless of what kind of floor you have, if you want hardwood it goes on top of the unfinished flooring, if you want carpet it goes on top of the unfinished flooring. Carpet is cheaper than hardwood, so it's more common.

My understanding of why Europe isn't this way is because houses in Europe predate newer, cheaper flooring options, and if you already have hardwood why would you cover it in cheap carpet?

I happen to have an older house in the US, around a century old, and it had carpet when I bought it. I ripped it off and discovered hardwood flooring underneath, but it'd been beat to shit and it was actually cheaper to put down textured vinyl that looks and feels like hardwood than it was to refinish the hardwood. I used to live in a house built around 30 years ago; it had carpet flooring with plywood underneath.

So the bigger question....Is it funnier that Nick took care of neither charge or would it have been funnier if he took care of his own and didn't take care of April's?

Balldo gets hits into a brick and yet gets out of everything swiftly like a fucking cockroach was pretty funny, especially how much convictions/crimes that he failed to appeal, appear and contest, and still was quickly released and because of his role as a "lawyer" in Minnesota. Also, the feature is wrong.
I have no qualms of fear for the whore to get cursed by Magi-chan or by the Sonichu medallion since she says sex work is work, so I guess she would be alright from getting cursed by Magi-chan. Chris is having a field day over a slut getting the cursed material.
He's gotta catch 'em all, and he's working very fast to collect them all.
And passed by the Minnesotan authorities because Nick is a true and honest lolyer, and he can get away from sentences like hotcakes.
