I began watching Jen fairly close to the end, so I’m no scholar when it comes to her, but I do recall thinking to myself that her fingers looked relatively slim for as huge as she was. I mean, not skinny, but you wouldn’t guess just by her hands that she was 600 pounds or whatever she was.

Jen was also tall - 5’9” if I recall correctly - and tall people often have longer fingers so maybe that could account for it.

Now that you said that, I was wondering if Salah was in his room on the phone and she heard something he said, but that's probably not it, he'd speak Arabic to friends or family and she wouldn't understand a word. Unless he was on the phone with another mark and spoke English.

Or she did get some message and didn't know how to react on a live stream and had to think for a second and that's why she looked up, also maybe thinking about for a second if she should just say "bad news" or actually tell her audience what's going on.

I know it could all be a lie to make people speculate and to get more views on her next video or stream. But her reaction didn't look like that to me. Not a Canadian thing at all; we still use pounds to measure our weight. I am a Leaf and I have never used kilograms for weight, so it still confuses me; we do use the metric system, but still use imperial for a few things such as weight and height. Chantal is just a confused retard who also uses certain American terms for whatever reason (such as soda...in Canada, we say POP. We do not say soda, and it's not a regional Ontario thing whatsoever) and since she is in the land of sand fleas who use kilograms, she's trying to adopt it.

...except she's also throwing an Amberlynn spin on it--the famous "89 elbees"--by trying to quirkily pronounce the abbreviation "kayjeez." No, and no. I lived in two European countries sometime ago, and it's "kilos" or full-on "kilograms" indeed.

Having protein with sweets can help prevent sugar crashes though. Have milk with cookies instead of coffee or diet soda for instance.

I’d place my bets on favourite Rasta Aunt who had health issues (COPD for one) that was severe enough to drag her away from her 12 year old Jamaican boys, back to Canada for free health care. On that note: I just checked Phyllis's Facebook, and she's been posting in her usual way all day. She mostly just reshares stuff with little to no commentary, and she was doing it as recently as an hour ago (about 5-6 PM her time). If there was a family tragedy, then Phyllis hasn't even asked for thoughts and prayers.

My vote is that it's either a nothingburger-- something minor that she's exaggerating-- or just something she's saying for future clicks. The images of her latest livestream's views compared to FFG's views were posted here and on Twitter (and likely elsewhere), so she's probably smarting about that.

Here's my hunch: The bad news was an already-known possibility—but she was hoping cockroach luck would be on her side, and whatever it was wouldn't happen.

Whatever it was, it was stressful enough to send her into shifty eyes as she figured out how she was going to keep her cool and end the stream.

She was not surprised by it, and it's not something that affected her emotionally beyond anger/annoyance, and perhaps embarrassment. Her response struck me as more as a pissed off, "Oh, shit," rather than an upset, "Oh, no!"

So my guess is that it's not a family crisis, or somebody else's misfortune (not that Chantal would give a shit), but rather a financial or legal matter, or perhaps a medical test result that she's stubbornly in denial about. It could also include trouble getting a visa to a country she and Salah had planned to visit.

Or, it could have been YouTube telling her they're demonetizing her channel, which would warrant a chef's kiss big enough to bring Tony Bourdain back from the dead. I can see her needing her privacy to cope with that bit of news.
