I just never believed he was a real lawyer. Sure, he might have passed law school and the bar, but I was never convinced by the claim to have a legal practice.

Then when he defamed Montegraph my scepticism went through the roof.

I started watching him during Rittenhouse. Had never heard of him before. I assumed from the things he said, including how to read a jury - mostly to lawyers he had on the show - that he’d had lots of trial experience. But then he had an actual lawyer on once (can’t remember who), they were discussing experiences with juries, and Nick was forced to admit that he’d never had a jury trial. He seemed embarrassed enough that I felt a little sorry for him.

My two takeaways from the last half that I listened to: Crigler takes the easy libertarian out of “I think drugs should be decriminalized.” Legal Mindset later counters (what I’ve said) that even if you think that, you know cocaine is illegal and by doing illegal shit you’re putting your family at risk.

I wouldn't say I ever "respected" Rekieta because respecting random Internet personalities is dumb and Rekieta is Exhibit A for why. But I mostly watched his stuff during the Vic Lasagna drama. As that case dragged on and on and Nick kept making the same tired jokes and saying the same lines over and over, I realized Nick was grifting off of it without actually getting anything done to defend Vic or screw over the people that ruined him. I lost interest because nothing was happening and Nick/Ty Beard seemed incompetent. Didn't they literally sell shirts that said "Nick we lost the case again" or something like that on them?
