I don't fully understand what's going on here. You've been paying the electric bill and somehow didn't notice you were being charged for multiple households worth of power, but you apparently haven't been paying them because you owe thousands in late fees? And now that you've realized you've been footing your entire building's electricity bill, the plan is to... just pay them? Through e-begging? Not consulting a lawyer and raising hell? And if he's without power because the bill isn't being paid, wouldn't the entire building be without power as well? Why aren't you hitting up your neighbors so they can pay their share? Somehow I have a hard time taking this at face value.

I have a lot of nightmares about looking up and seeing something unfathomably huge moving around in the sky, like something on the scale of the moon or larger. Scares the shit out of me.

I remember one time on one of my night walks I looked up at the moon and for a fraction of a second I saw something behind the moon holding onto it.

Obviously just imagined, but I was so surprised that I almost fell down on my ass.

475,000 subscribers and he doesn't have $1,400 to his name? He should have twice that amount from sponsorships and ad revenue alone. If he's really failed to leverage that number of followers so badly then he ought sit with the lights off and think about where he went wrong.

Yeah, I don’t mean it in a personal way but he should probably just talk to his apartment manager and if they won’t help him, a lawyer. Maybe he can get a few months free rent or power as consolation or something that way or get his money back plus more.

Halfway through writing this I realized that it's just lost episodes all over again - but seeing this, the Godzilla channel, the Jurassic Park stuff, etc. just has me seeing dollar signs. I'm entirely convinced someone could pull in shit loads of subscribers and watch time by just pumping out 2 minute long videos based on results for prompting Chat-GPT with "Tell me how you would make [specific IP] spooky".

At least with Godzilla and Jurassic Park, there are elements to them that could be translated to horror, and hell plenty of their movies have horror elements.

Batman and Superman can only go in the direction of making generic evil superhero slop that isn’t scary. The only way I can possibly see any horror work for those two properties would be to make the villains more scary but that requires talent which analog horror creators lack.

Grab a popular character.
Turn them evil and edgy
Tell the story in a nonsensical vhs slideshow format that doesn't fit the vibe at all and has super unconvincing video stuttering whenever it's time to get scary.
Add in some censored or not real life faces, and/or some super distorted ones that look too stupid to be scary.
Wait for some soulless horror Youtuber to make avideo titled "The SCARIEST Analogue Horror" or "The DARK SECRET BEHIND [title character]" where they lazily recap the entire story and you get more views as they hear about your video.
Profit.

Also if they cut his power then does that mean that the whole building is dark then? I would think the neighbors/landlord would catch on that something is wrong when their power is out too.
