Zach liked a movie a vast majority of the world clearly didn't care enough about to go see. Some who did see it, said it was mid and had some "lol woke" moments in it.

That's where it should end for Zach. But what he is doing is droning on and on about how much we need to rally behind Hollywood for some reason. Nigga, just get over it. Why should I rally behind a movie I don't care enough about to see, or something I know will be shite, just so Hollywood doesn't collapse.

The way he railed against mid comics that led to a lot of people learning about mid/"lol woke" comics cancelling their pull boxes and not buying new comics. Which led to comic stores going out of business, though you could also argue the market from the big two also helped, but it certainly wasn't all on it's own. So why, (our point is) is it okay for Zach to complain and bitch and moan about people not seeing fucking Furiosa of all movies, and call out people who aren't even saying "NEVER GO SEE THIS FILM!" but it's okay for him to spend most of his Youtube career obsessing over writers and people in charge of the big comics industry?

Most people are probably not hating on him or thinking he's a traitor (sure there's a few autistic style fans who might), but they just don't agree with his opinion on Furiosa, like his opinion on a lot of movies... Why is he acting like a thin skinned pussy about it and taking it so personally?

It’s now been put much more succinctly than my posts, but yes. I don’t care about calling out anti-SJWs. Comics gate went off the rails and needed to be called out (this thread), and no other group should be safe from that either.

It’s just wild to me to me that Zack thinks he can take the positions he is right now.

I think that Zack just has not spent money on enough woke movies (unlike woke comics which he has bought plenty and gotten sick off) and that is creating a blindspot. He has not seen that woke Hollywood and woke comics are the same with only budgets making the difference.

Rachel Zegglers and Amber Heard are to movies what Kelly Sue DeConnick and Alex de Campi are to comics and he does not see it because he does not know movies and TV (or the people behind them) as well as he does comics. He does not know that Hollywood goes the way of the comics industry for the exact same reason because they are being ran by similar people as he does not know that industry as well as he does comics.

Another note on this movie thing with Zack, on one of his videos on this topic he offered up as evidence that they are still making movies for "old men" (I call them men) is that there's a bunch of direct to Netflix garbage targeted to that demographic.

I actually sort of generally enjoy Zack's videos and even found his cold opens kind of entertaining where he would relay some random anecdote that in his mind ties in thematically with the larger video premise but it's usually just rambling and crazy but I generally like it anyhow. But when he gets so locked into something and doesn't have anything new to say except "seriously guys I'm right" it gets harder to sit through.

Nope. On his main campaigns he would always be over 200k on the first day of the campaign. Now he has driven away so many people from his brand he is not even close to being the top earner in ComicsGate. Especially, with guys like Nolan and Lopresti who consistently get their product out to customers on time.

EVS’s new cope is “The ISOM ministry actually WON the court case that didn’t happen because Eric July isn’t going to write ISOM anymore!” because Eric is going to work on a long-term project and is hiring a new writer for ISOM #4 onward.
