Properly creepy shit on display here. Not like I'm surprised, given the perpetrator, but god reading through what's there atm was unsettling. The way that the dragons are so obviously of the furry type, the constant emphasis on the pain and specific bodily effects of the transition, ew. Makes me wonder if TF fetishes go hand in hand with autogynephilia.

Adam Ellis was brought up here a few years ago, but actually got a very short redemption arc. Not only did his art improve, but he was making actually funny and interesting comics, especially in the horror department!
And then he once again fully embraced Trump Derangement Syndrome and the Scoial Junstice bug and started making shit again. Just slightly more appealing to look at than before.

If I was here around the time that comic was still going on, let me tell you, Joshua Samara definitely needed his own lolwcow thread. Josh's absolute defensiveness of his dogshit artstyle and writing is just hilarious.
Actually, come to think of it, his behavior for his next shitty comic, My Impossible Soulmate is honestly even more defensive and hilarious to watch.

I've never read Rain, but I have read this review (x) (addendum) where the reviewer hates it because the main character gets misgendered, the main character doesn't get with the lesbian character, and the main character talks bad about trannies who won't even shave. Worse yet, none of these damn dirty transphobia ever get punished for it!

This is the creator by the way. Draws himself all cute and thinking he’s hot, and is…admittedly somewhat less offensive than other trannies I’ve seen on this site. Not going to age well though, I can tell.

I agree, it's as if he wanted a daughter (or at least a child) before, now he has to settle for being the daughter, sort of like Chris Chan becoming the boyfriend-free girl he always wanted rather than finding one (even if those chances were slim to none). Also his "best future" is him going to his (presumably) grandma's house? Pretty sad future if he couldn't even be bothered to find anyone else to talk to.

"5 year old me would totally accept me as I currently am!" If the other versions of you had issues with how your life turned out, 5 year old you would be just as shocked and disappointed, just in a more childlike manner, like "who are you" or "ew those are girl clothes."
"I feel more connected to my body and emotions now" Isn't that a job for a therapist, or at least thinking it over without any outside influence? If your last resort is taking hormones, wouldn't you want to think it over and see how you really feel about your situation before taking a drastic step like that? You could feel "more connected" by meditating or exercising, but no, take the worst path and take hormones instead of confronting your mental issues.
Maybe if he had thought over it in a more objective way, he could see that "Oh, maybe it was me thinking I needed to have kids now that was the issue, I can just slow down a little bit" or "My body doesn't look the way I want it to be, but I can change that through exercise/dieting and not through crossdressing/taking hormones," if those were his issues. Those choices aren't easy, but at least you can reverse them and they won't have any negative impacts on your body (unless you stop exercising of course).
Also these comics are clearly cope. "W-well I totally feel better right now as a woman than I ever did as an icky man" doesn't make sense if you have to repeat the message to yourself and others 100 times.

He had a spooky Twitter ghost story he tried to pass off as "totally real and scawwy guys!!" Pretty sure he still insists it was a real story even after they sold the rights to make a movie. The best part is the character based off himself is a completely unlikable asshole, and the movie was mediocre at best, from what I've heard.
This is just the "Ellen cycle" in process.
Make a bad comic > Receive criticism > Obviously get bothered by it > Make another bad comic about critics > Receive MORE criticism > Cry about being bullied > Back to start
Usually there can be any amount of getting asspats and thirst baiting in between each step as well.
