No, he's still married and straight, but he had an arc about how he, and so Davan, experimented in college. The bi-twink is Davan's unofficial son, who he helped raise despite DNA telling him he wasn't the kid's father, but it worked out in the end, I guess. His focus now is Popeye the Sailor Man. He has a regular gig drawing
the Sunday strip for Popeye comics and also does another every week. He has autistic knowledge about the characters and history, so a lot of it is referential to stuff from eighty or ninety years ago. He also did
a Mickey Mouse comic when Steamboat Willy went into public domain but like most of his spin offs he's abandoned it, it looks like.
Also, ten years ago he used to at least put out a few pages a week. After having a kid his output has gotten even worse. Oh, and yeah, he got married and had a kid... at 48. The mother is ten years younger than him. And the kid's autistic. So no surprises there.
