I WOULD say you're like several years too late, but frankly it's never too late to marvel about how batshit that entire trilogy was.
There's a pretty convincing comparison that claims the apartment they're in in the first comic is just modelled after Seinfeld

No, he's still married and straight, but he had an arc about how he, and so Davan, experimented in college. The bi-twink is Davan's unofficial son, who he helped raise despite DNA telling him he wasn't the kid's father, but it worked out in the end, I guess. His focus now is Popeye the Sailor Man. He has a regular gig drawing the Sunday strip for Popeye comics and also does another every week. He has autistic knowledge about the characters and history, so a lot of it is referential to stuff from eighty or ninety years ago. He also did a Mickey Mouse comic when Steamboat Willy went into public domain but like most of his spin offs he's abandoned it, it looks like.

Also, ten years ago he used to at least put out a few pages a week. After having a kid his output has gotten even worse. Oh, and yeah, he got married and had a kid... at 48. The mother is ten years younger than him. And the kid's autistic. So no surprises there.

I actually kind of respected borba for the first comic. As crazy and dumb as it is, I admire the sincerity (no, I don't think the Seinfeld thing is proof he was doing a bit the whole time). It's too bad he became obsessed with "owning da trolls" like anyone cares what blue reddit thinks.

I don't remember exactly what my beef was, but he was definitely missing updates and when he did update they were pointless bullshit. I just remember I purposely broke that habit.

Yeah, S*P has been unfunny depression porn for years now. The Davan having flirted with being bi angle is a complete ass-pull. Almost every strip has the same format:

Panel 1:
Character A: Offer.
Character B: Snide rejection.

Panel 2:
Character A: Appeal to deeply-buried positive aspect of character B.
Character B: Slightly less snide rejection.

Panel 3:
Character B: Explanation of what soured them on the issue du jour.

Panel 4:
Character A: Tease of Character A being a softie.
Character B: Playful threat of violence.


Randy is probably better off letting the comic die. It's been over 20 years, it's had a good run.
 
Dresdencodak continues to be one of the best drawn webcomics out there, while simultaneously suffering from an appallingly atrocious panel layout, as seen in the newest page once again. No idea what the story is anymore, but this page specifically is very hard to follow and understand.
(And in the spirit of Magnolia Carter's prophetic callout, the page before that is basically just pinup with some exposition.)

It looks fine to me? Would be too big for a real comic print but it reads easily and has the standard bubble-guided eye guide

The S curve is an industry standard for the easiest type of flow to read.

Their pages are too big, though. They could break it into two pages. If they stopped cramming two pages of information into one page, it would look less cluttered. But the LAYOUT itself is fine.
