This might sound messy but IMO there is two aspects to sexuality: your innate sexuality and then whatever happens to you that can "interrupt" that for lack of a better term. It is absolutely possible to be abused, indoctrinated, brainwashed into behaving in ways that you otherwise would not have sexually. Some people may see it as splitting hairs when there is no need but I think there is purpose to distinguishing from someone who was born naturally desiring something and someone who did not. Though, I also think once you do something non-straight there is no going back. You don't get to say you were only gay for pay or whatever other bullshit. Once a fag, always a fag.
Bisexuality is a lot more nuanced than people think or would like to discuss. There is no straight guy or girl that is into "cis" but also "trans" as long as it "matches" the role the sex they're attracted to is supposed to look like. It's just bisexuality. I think there are a lot of bisexuals who are "bihet" like a lot of situations you hear with trannies. They're primarily attracted to the opposite sex but also will be comfortable with the same sex if that person is crossdressing, their preference is largely dictated by secondary characteristics and the aesthetics commonly thought of in conjunction with the opposite sex they're attracted to. This is different from someone deeply closeted who has mindfucked themselves into thinking it isn't gay if he wears a skirt. Those solve themselves quick the dude will either fully come out or will have a moment of clarity and drop the tranny but remain closeted--it's not really the type of thing you can keep lying to yourself about forever.
All GAMPs/chasers are BISEXUAL. Is what I'm getting at. Once you start seeing it that way it's no longer confusing. Because of socialization, preferences of varying types, etc. most bisexuals will not have a clear pattern of attraction so to speak. In the sense you know someone straight is always into the opposite sex and while they may like someone GNC rarely ever outright crossdressing. Same for gay. Also, as you age your attraction pattern when you're bisexual might change. Yes, you might "pick a side". You might start out liking one more than the other and then go the opposite.

I don't agree with this due to the amount of stories that have come out of porn addicts saying that they started looking at gay shit and craving cock, only for that to go away once they quit. The whole "born this way" narrative seems pretty obsolete to me now with the amount of homos that have a history of being sexually abused, and the amount of otherwise normal men deciding that they want to be women because of the people they talk to online.
