This taurine scare is just MSG 2.0, a bunch of imbecilic dipshits who don't know what they're talking about, demonising a totally natural ingredient for clicks and grift.
MSG scare was partly fuelled "chinks bad", Bri'ish dumbfucks can't even season they food, and they're wondering why other food tastes good, it must be that MSG thing which they can't read, not because the Bri'ish can't fucking cook. MSG occurs naturally in mushrooms and scallops, among many other things. I have no idea what this taurine scare is now.
Mostly agree, but large amounts of MSG can trigger seizures in rat studies due to increased blood brain permeability. The equivalent threshold for humans isn’t reasonably obtainable via normal foods, however additives can be an issue. While poorly understood if this is an issue with humans, it is advised by providers to limit MSG intake.

Locals seemed like it had calmed down a bit, but the new stream worked them up again

Another Locals member, Billdozer74, has commented on livestream. He's pretty boring, though:

Here is a document regrading Mandated Reporters in Minnesota if anyone is interested.

Resource Guide for Mandated Reporters of Child Maltreatment Concerns

Obviously the Locals are room temperature IQ mouth-breathers but if anyone else would like to understand when they have to intervene. The neglect was always the purpose of the warrant and the suspected cocaine use was an aggravating factor. If Nick is hinging his entire defense on probable cause for a warrant he is setting himself up for failure. Court cases cost the county money so the longer he drags it out the greater the penalty will be due to the sunk cost fallacy. Much like how his case with Montagraph crossed that threshold the second he called Randazza.

Adults can’t have “oppositional defiance disorder” it’s just called being a spoiled retard desperately refusing to learn a lesson.

Yeah, I think there's major misconceptions as to what ODD actually is and how it manifests in children. I'm no expert so I'm not going to try enunciating it either, but IIRC Nick self-diagnosed himself with ODD so it's particularly retarded.

If lil' Balldo somehow stumbles upon some sense & takes a plea and hypothetically we see:
1) Him accept responsibility
2) Apologize for his actions
3) Commit to court ordered drug screening, CPS supervision, parent workshops & ongoing treatment
4) Accept a felony or adhere in good faith to any and all conditions to prevent it

But then, online, he predictably proceeds to:
1) Insult the process & all jurists & investigators involved
2) Deny or deflect or undermine any wrongdoing
3) Continue to appear or become intoxicated regularly
4) Smugly imply that while he bent over in court, he's actually outsmarting everyone & it's all entirely strategic

What's the potential outcome to follow? Could they revoke the agreement? Does his pissant dregs of a dwindling fanbase stay, give up or grow?

Look here, listen: I ain’t no brain mechanic, but I think Nick suffers from what is called, being a fuckhead.

Seriously, though, I would think it would fall into some category of antisocial personality disorder.

He got the dog on camera for sympathy, but it looks like he's mercilessly choking it so hard its eyes are bulging out.
"Hi guys! See? The canine is still among the living! Am I not so quirky and relatable? Surely I'm not a Sonichu demon wearing this man's skin. Be at ease humans!"

Nick isn't selling anything the DA wants. The first offered deal will be the Judges preferred program of staying straight and narrow for 24 months, doing the program etc.
... and a stipulation of no streaming during the probationary period? Imagine Nick's horror!

Pugs just look like that. He wasn't strangling the thing.

I only remember "Girls" and "Boys" rooms from school,
We yanks do sometimes say "I need to go to the little boys' room," as adults as a quasi-euphemism, especially in mixed company.

I took it more as Nick was making fun of his lazy eye and insinuating (based on intuition, but possibly something Andrew confided to him?) that Andrew is bisexual.

I’m cracking up at EVS saying that the kids may have gotten the coke.
Nigga, they don’t got jobs. They don’t have income. These kids don’t even know where to get weed much less snow.
You’re telling me that a 16 year old kid has the money, time, and contacts to get an ounce of coke that just so happened to be hidden in his parents room the day that a jealous in-law manipulated a priest into calling the police.
:story:

>day of the trial 1000 anonymous witnesses shuffle in to the court room to testify that yes, he appeared plastered.

Where are we all meeting up for lunch?
C'mon, you know exactly where we're meeting up for lunch.

The idea of Nick going into the courtroom, only to see this massive Kiwi crowd there to record and document every little thing they can would be the most hilarious part of this whole thing. And all that shit he says about us online? Worthless. All the stuff he says about the site, or John, would manifest to him trying to look away to avoid a confrontation. He'd know it's us too, because of all the "Please be patient I have autism" hats, all the real life anime waifus and AI creatures.

Such an idea is so ridiculous it makes me laugh.

I don't think he has any possibility of negotiating a plea deal where he gets rid of the felony.
If he can get the weight down to fifth degree possession (section 152.025) (up to 24.99 grams), then the court MUST defer adjudication on a finding of guilt.

Screenshot_20240608-135257.png

That means the court doesn't actually enter the adjudication of guilt and puts him on probation for up to 5 years. If successful, the case gets dismissed.

There's no deferred adjudication available for 2nd degree possession (25-50 grams). The police weighed everything with packaging at 26.67 grams. 3 small baggies, 1 large corner cut baggie, and 1 black vial are going to get that number somewhere close to or under 25 grams.

He's almost guaranteed to do probation either way, but he has an excellent chance of avoiding becoming a convicted felon. Wouldn't surprise me if they offered the 5th degree plea without even knowing the lab results.

I have never, ever heard an American ever call themselves or another American a "yank."
It's a sociolinguistic phenomenon called accommodation.
I picked up "yank" as the Limey term of endearment for us when I lived there, so I am nicely speaking to him in his own language.

It's really grating as a Southerner, admittedly, but less stinging than "yankee."
