At least Miss Whatever Alabama is an actual female.

Miss Maryland USA is a tranny.....a married tranny. (IDK, I thought they were supposed to at least be single, but hey.....trans wrongs uber alles.). The Alabama judges might be visually impaired, but at least they aren't total sibling fucking retards like the Maryland judges.

You left out that Maryland is married to a marine

What worries me is the use of animals by people where the person’s weight could seriously hurt them.

Think horses, donkeys, mobility assist dogs, service dogs, and such.

It’s not fatphobic, it is for the animal’s safety and well-being. You WILL hurt the horse or dog by putting or leaning too much weight on it.

There’s a local FA to me who also has a disability and got a (very large) mobility assistance dog, so it could more easily handle her weight. He washed out with pain and joint problems after just a couple years. Imagine causing lifelong pain and debility to a thinking being that only wants to help you, rather than change one’s lifestyle.
Aside from people trying those nose-to-tail rides and usually getting rejected (most businesses have weight limits), I've heard of vanishingly few people who keep horses and are morbidly obese and still ride. At least. Their balance is all fucked up because they have a lot of weight up higher than typical riders, especially if they're women, their legs will stick out more because of the fat on their legs, and when they move the fat moves independent of their bone and muscle...essentially they're very unbalanced and can't control where a large portion of their weight is moving. And balance is pretty much the entirety of how you stay on a horse.

They have trouble getting on even with a mounting block and fall off too much. Is pretty much it. It won't be comfortable for them and they have a LOT more riding accidents than the average person so it's a self correcting issue.

The average horse weights 1100 lbs. and can carry a 220 or so lbs. comfortably even doing hard work following the 20% rule (which is a shaky guideline TBH, the study that's based on wasn't as conclusive as some would like to think but it covers most situations IMO.) But still, they can easily handle some extra fluff on a person more than what some would assume.

Fucked about the dog though. These people just purposefully ignore the impact they have on anything or anyone to justify existing as someone who has eaten themselves into a disability.

I'll give her brother and his wife a tiny shred of credit for having a kid who is at a healthy weight. That's not always the case for children with obese parents. Obviously, her brother has some of the same fucked up behaviors around food, so it's good to see that the kid isn't fat yet.

(Hopefully, it's safe to come out from hiding now.)

If you own a horse it’s a fair amount of physical work as well. You’re up early every day to muck out or check on them depending on the time of year. Here you’d be stabled most of winter, so you’d need to check, muck out, rug, turn out, feed or restock feed for the evening, blah blah. And in reverse in the evening. Bring them in, dry them off, hang up rugs and stuff, make sure bedding is clean. Even just the bare minimum is an hour morning and night. Then all the other rigmarole that horses need, which is endless
Ponies are great but their time and money sinks.
Ok it’s not hard physical work but it needs a willingness to get up at five and get to wherever they’re stabled (unless you’re lucky enough to have land yourself which most don’t where I live.) that’s just a mindset that’s not one that some people have. I don’t think I’ve ever met a pony girl who is anything more than that solid stocky build.

While I know she wasn’t one of out fat cows, Mandisa from American Idol has died. She was 47 and weighed in at 488lbs. Death Certificate puts cause of death as “complications from Class 3 Obesity”.

Our fatties would do well to take notice. Obesity is NOT healthy.
From the linked article:
The report said the star was found dead in her home by friends on April 18, and that she "was last known alive approximately three weeks" earlier.

Fucking grim.

Fucking grim.
I thought the same. I’m left wondering though why the autopsy report used complications of class 3 obesity (BMI >40) , when at the weight she was she would have been class 5 (BMI >60) at least.

All our fatties here are class 5 obesity levels. That’s what really makes them deathfats.

And like all these fatasses it's up to everybody else to cater to them and not for them to take any personal responsibility.

If you need a seatbelt extender then you bring it with you. Or treat it as a wake up call that maybe you need to lose weight.
Access transportation has seatbelt extenders on board for every van but Uber and Lyft is gig economy. Why would anybody want to cater to fat people with their smells and slow movement in and out by paying extra money for a seatbelt extender? They don’t carry car seats for babies of small size, what in the hell
Is wrong with these people?

When the wheelchair lady wouldn’t push her she maybe should have suggested that two people might work together after they were done with the other one. If she had called ahead about her size needs and the extent of her fat she could have asked for a team lift. The entitlement.

Three weeks? That's horrifying and sad.
I found it especially poignant because at the time of her death, all of these people were talking about how sweet and kind she was, how she would have done anything for her friends, how she encouraged them when they were down. Everyone loved her, but no one noticed they hadn't heard from her in weeks? Nobody thought it was weird that she wasn't answering their texts or calls? I mean, fuck, maybe there's an innocent explanation, but the optics are kind of icky.

Sometimes it seems that we are more and more isolated from each other, even as technology claims to connect us.

I wonder - how is Evie getting food? Is she getting groceries delivered and cooking? Or is she living off delivery takeout? How is she getting the money for that, it must cost a fortune.
If I had to look after one of these people I’d cook them 2000 kcal of food in three meals and two snacks a day and that would be it. Come back in a year and they’d be mobile.
My point is that she’s immobile, and not got a lot of money - who is feeding her?
