At this point, EVS and his Cuck crew are the small-scale, stereotype of that Libertarian idea of "the Cathedral". Doesn't like competition, so tries to "choke out" the competition through over regulation.
Think about it... Through subterfuge, "regulation" and his reputation, EVS came into Comicsgate and drove it off a cliff. While doing next-to-nothing in terms of his own work.

- Eric has Vito on one of his debate streams. Eric eventually catches on that Vito is just there to grift his comic and mutes him every time he tries to shill it and makes sure his name is never mentioned anywhere on the video.
- Isom 1 has a successful 1st campaign
- Dax shows up on the Flashcast and shit talks both Eric and his comic
- Nina Infinity calls him out on not actually reading the comic at that point and pressures him into reading it
- Tries to play nice with Eric who shows up later who now wants nothing to do with a guy that came at him unprovoked
- Dax tries to give genuine criticism on a later podcast, but Eric has no interest at that point and doesn't believe it's in good faith, EVS tells Eric to take the criticism anyway.
- Dax declares TND on Eric and tries to turn him into the new Maddox
- Starts criticizing everything Eric does with his pet retard Vtio and encourages shit like Riley going to Eric's warehouse, accusing Eric of charity fraud, instigating the Ministry lawsuit and laughing at Riley and other Dickheads going to Eric's ancestor's grave to fuck with it.
- In between all of that, Eric calls out Nick on clearly being less of critical of Dax and crew fucking with Eric and instead focusing on Eric's reaction while claiming to be impartial. Nick has 6 hour seethestream over Eric him calling a non-practicing lawyer
- Eric also messages EVS saying it's not cool to platform people actively fucking with him while trying to justify their actions and wants to talk it out
- Months later EVS decides this message was actually a "threat" and also declares TND on Eric
- Since they're all mindless drones, the rest of CG follows suit and pretends they never liked Eric or his comics despite numerous videos and tweets saying otherwise
- Eric at some point learns or is told to stop engaging and starts focusing on his business more while Dax, EVS, and Nick scream into the void

nick jumped in because he thought eric july would lose didnt he? i remember him saying the comic would probably fail or something or trying really hard to prove it was bleeding money and the profits later were illusory but i might be mixing him up with the diddler dax crew
pretty good write up i can see more how the different vultures jumped on and why for the most part unless im mistaken. im just not sure why a seemingly disinterested piece of shit like evs gave a shit initially since he strikes me as someone who more cares about making sure people obey him and him alone so im not sure what slight eric committed against evs via not listening to dax on how to write a comic

What's funny is this isn't even the first time he's done a cover for an ally, then turncoat backstabbed. In the case of WC's Vestige, he should never have done it in the first place, but that shows you the kind of quick turnaround he is capable of making. WC was sacrificed only because Anna was the bigger name and preferable optics. Now imagine going to war over Masturdson & Vedo. Unthinkable. Hunter will be scapegoated until they all go to jail.

Nick has always been part of the diddler dax crew. He was in the Dick Show facebook group and started his channel covering the Maddox lolsuit. The funny thing is that Eric said he would have been less mad if Nick openly said he was backing Dax because they're friends since that's at least understandable, but Nick refused to even say that much, But yeah they all swore up and down that Eric was bleeding money with every move he made because they needed the guy to fail.
The general theory going around is that EVS got butthurt because Eric accidentally made him look bad by both putting out a comic on time while being incredibly successful at it compared to EVS' phantom books that are years late and Eric won't be one of his ballwashers since he's very independent. When people called other indie titles better than his like Kamen America, he would point to the pile of money he crowdfunded to deflect. A tactic he can't use on Eric and a situation he can only blame on himself since he's too lazy to work on his comics.
