Don't these people realize that all this does is make people want to watch the original instead? They're remaking Gumby without clay instead we're getting a shitty calarts beanmout style

This is so much of a stretch for a show that we're reaching levels of Rubik the Amazing Cube.
Shitty streamerbait game gets a tv show, creativity is dead.
God knows I've come in late to the discussion, but wouldn't Gravity Falls count? I haven't rewatched it since it originally aired, but I do have good memories about it.I've already seen OTGW, though. Plus it's only 10 episodes and I'm looking for a long-running anime that /co/ won't criticize, like Star Vs or Adventure Time.
Already watched all of Gravity Falls. I really liked it, but the /co/nsensus is that it goes to shit halfway through Season 2 and thus doesn't count as a good show.God knows I've come in late to the discussion, but wouldn't Gravity Falls count? Or even a step further like the Q*bert cartoon. This is so much of a stretch for a show that we're reaching levels of Rubik the Amazing Cube.
Q*Bert makes sense for a cartoon. As one note as those characters are, you could at least create SOMETHING from that. You know who the good guy and bad guys are, and you know they look alien enough to where they can set everythinmg in outer space (which in fact they do in more recent games).Or even a step further like the Q*bert cartoon.
Their loss, I remember it as one of the most tight shows out there with barely any fat.Already watched all of Gravity Falls. I really liked it, but the /co/nsensus is that it goes to shit halfway through Season 2 and thus doesn't count as a good show.
I wish it had more Padippica (sic) and didn't waste so much time with Wendy only to drop her by Blendin's Game, or making Mabel's character go through the same arc over and over again without ever changing. And the last half of Season 2 is blatantly rushed because they were rejected more seasons.Their loss, I remember it as one of the most tight shows out there with barely any fat.
Wasn't perfect but I'd say it was pretty good.Their loss, I remember it as one of the most tight shows out there with barely any fat.
Were they? I thought Alex specifically asked for the show to end by season 2?And the last half of Season 2 is blatantly rushed because they were rejected more seasons.
No. Wherever you learned that was either wrong or lying. Were they? I thought Alex specifically asked for the show to end by season 2?
Does anyone here remember what cartoons were like before reboots replaced original IPs?They've scraped right through the bottom of the IP barrel and hit bedrock.
Yeah, random posts from hyper-optimistic and uncritical Reddit shills is totally a believable source over what I can actually observe with my own eyes and brain about the last handful of episodes of GF Season 2 and the identical habits that Owl House would fall into during its own Season 2 and "Season 3".Well you tell me were you heard that shit because I've heard otherwise

Being a "nooticer" about things still requires some level of anecdote from other people or evidence to suggest it, which you still haven't posted yourself.Yeah, random posts from hyper-optimistic and uncritical Reddit shills is totally a believable source over what I can actually observe with my own eyes and brain about the last handful of episodes of GF Season 2 and the identical habits that Owl House would fall into during its own Season 2 and "Season 3".
Pretty much what I heard as well even while the show was airing. Hell, may have even been stated during the first season but I may be reaching here, but this is nothing new, far from it and was definitely a topic during Gravity Falls heyday.Well you tell me were you heard that shit because I've heard otherwise

Say fucking no....Speaking of Gravity Falls, apparently Disney is in talks with Hirsch on a possible revival of the show.

@Colon capital V has posted his receipts, where are yours? If Hirsch felt he got fucked by missing a season I would imagine he would have said something in at least some interview or AMA session. That season 2 felt rushed or uneven could also perfectly be bad planning, burnout, bad distribution of budget, or maybe even regretting near the finish line that stance of his of no more than 2 seasons. Mostly since I don't see why Hirsch would be under some sort of NDA to NEVER reveal the mouse cancelled them if that were the case.Yeah, random posts from hyper-optimistic and uncritical Reddit shills is totally a believable source over what I can actually observe with my own eyes and brain about the last handful of episodes of GF Season 2 and the identical habits that Owl House would fall into during its own Season 2 and "Season 3".
Gumby might be the last holdout of good memories from my childhood. Bring it on. Ruin the memories and free me from sin. They're remaking Gumby without clay instead we're getting a shitty calarts beanmout style
