I don't buy it. In all seriousness, about a thousand or two pages back I discussed how when something like this happens, people cycle through the stages of grief. It seems like he's still doing that. I want a dramatic Saul to Paul religious conversion. Complete with temporary blindness. I want alcohol in his house to transmute into sand in his mouth. I want Nick to be unable to travel such that he is forced to humble himself before God to find the sink for a stable source of water. I want Nick to be completely alone with his thoughts unable to do anything except talk to himself and God and come out of the experience a miraculously changed man.

The more likely outcome that I want though is for Nick to get what he deserves sooner rather than later so his kids can start the healing process as soon as possible.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. Nick's social life is entirely online, at least the social life that he cares about. It really seems like he viewed his interactions with the local community of Kandiyohi County as a nuisance that he had to put up with because of his kids. No more kids, no more need to bother with the incel prudes at all. Why should he move then? What does he need to care about anyone in his "local community" for? No reason he can't just hole up in Fort Balldo and keep being terminally online. Nick invited Camelot at 6am in Vegas to hit up prostitutes. This would have been early last year for Nick's in person event, where Nick and Camelot stayed in the same suite.

Camelot says he saw the prostitute Nick got.
