Rory's art suffers from sameface. Her Prince Gumball looks exactly like her Steve.
At least her Marshall Lee is different, even though it looks nothing like the character. It looks more like this guy

Granted those genderbends exist in cannon due to a few episodes where the Ice King wrote a fanfic about it and forced several of the characters to listen to him read it.

This is what he actually looks like, though. I mean, I know Adventure Time is stylized and noodly, but I think his design doesn't lend itself to... that.

in the actual style it's all tubes and circles. her "stylization" is noodles and squares.

Also, just like Rory's Captain Thighmerica, his Prince Bubblegum acts more like a gay stereotype than how the real Bubblegum in the show actually acts from what I've seen of it. I may be wrong, but I thought Princess Bubblegum herself was a science nerd

The worst thing an artist can do is reject any and all criticism of their art and refuse to learn and improve to the point where they become so complacent that their art skills actually regress. One of the reasons my art is the way it is now is because of criticism and trying to improve. I feel like if she keeps going down this spiral she will end up like Dobson, a useless art degree, shitty art and a huge ego.

well since the art standards on tumblr are INCREDIBLY LOW, she's gonna have a whole website full of ding dongs praising her art and 'TALENTS'.
