Bottom image is a paid DLC you can buy for Yaskue. Historically accurate to the period the game is set in. Check out that authentic crest.

This game is by Ubisoft Quebec, the retards behind Syndicate and Odyssey. Take a look at this dev team of French Canadians and notice the trend.

Imagine these liberal hipsters turning on hiphop, looking at the only black guy in the room, and then doing the "black power" fist salute to them. It's one of those situations where you have a bunch of turbo leftists that try super hard to pander to a minority group but then end up exposing themselves as being incredibly racist because they know nothing about that group other than stereotypes.
What I hate most about this is that gamers will throw out the "it's just a VIDEO GAME, not everything can be historically ACCURATE" fallacy while Ubisoft themselves are blatantly revising actual history for DEI metrics and calling it absolute fact. They did that with Battlefield V and Call of Duty: Vanguard; now magically, everybody is an expert on what COULD be depicted as history despite actual fans pointing out glaring inaccuracies on TOP of the obvious.

I got it muddled. He becomes ex samurai. A ronin. But then ronin mean samurai without a master. So then....he is still samurai? But some say he is former samurai...fuck. I sha cormitt seppukuuuu rong rive gore-eus nipponnnuuu!!!!!

Yasuke technically have Nobunaga. But...now I'm hearing its AFTER he served Nobunaga. Shit is confusing.
You only lose your status at the end of the game when the Shogun and Shimura have finally had enough of your shenanigans as the Ghost.

And you technically aren't ronin (since ronin are actually samurai without a lord) at that point since your whole clan has been disbanded and your title stripped. So you're just a common bandit. You're no longer Jin of Clan Sakai. You're just Jin from Omi.

Still not over the horse. Fucking stab me in the heart and twist the knife Deep Silver.

Come to think of it i can't really see Yasuke riding on a horse since he's so huge plus wearing extremely heavy armor but....thats fiction for ya I guess.

Glad to see Kyoto is on the map. I assume it means we will indeed be getting Honnoji in some form.

I stopped with AC 2 after two copies, from Gamefly, consistently froze my 60GB PS3 during the tutorial. I heard niggers were in the one with Vikings. How progressive.

Yasuke will be riding on a magical armored elephant like the true kaang he is.
Only like 50% joking too. Nu-AC puts a lot of retarded magical stuff in their games like weird mounts and i can really see them try to up the Africa imagery.

Lmao these japanese people can't take 1 pct of what their companies been doing in the west. ( capcom, square, koname and more )

I am curious about what Japan thought about the old AC games (pre-Origins). Did they like how the ninja-like the gameplay was (stealth, assasinations, spying etc etc) as opposed to ninjas in pop culture that are wizards with face masks and swords? Which games they liked the most? I am trying to find sources but it is hard.

You know, when I think "assassin," the first thing that comes to mind is a big, bulky viking sneaking up behind people. Now, when I think of medieval Japan, I'm thinking some African samurai reclaiming Japan from its own people. Thanks, Ubisoft.
Funnily enough, you didn't actually assassinate people in Valhalla. Eivor even wore that hidden blade of theirs on the outside where everyone could see it. There was sweet fuck-all in terms of assassination in that game.

Yeah, the only reason that Odyssey and Valhalla are "Assassin's Creed" games is so they can cash in on the name.

Neither of the protagonists of these games become Assassins and are only barely in the orbit of the Assassin-Templar conflict.

DON'T QUESTION THE NARRATIVE. (I love how racist Ubisoft are showing themselves to be).

So is it a Japanese scholar that once larped as Garret or is it Garret larping as a Japanese scholar?
I don't know enough about twitter to know which is which, i have avoided it since it was made and up until like a year ago.
He seems to speak Japanese at least, tho i guess it could be AI.

It's also interesting how most of the comments agreeing are marked as "probable spam".
