Assassin's Creed thread

To be fair, so were a lot of actual samurai. When Takeda Shingen was 22 he decided a 16 year old retainer of his had a lovely boypussy. Tokyo University has the actual love pact they signed where Shingen sword off any other man in its archives.
Yeah but Yasuke was neither a Samurai nor is there any evidence that he was Nobunagas fuck buddy. It's all just for woke points. The DEI monsters character assassinated an actual person. The poor guy probably didn't have a good life and then hundreds of years later some dumb fucks made him lame & gay.

I'm well aware of his life and how it wasn't the best, but saying Ubi is turning all of Japan gay or bi in modern year wokeness is uh... let's just say they've always been uniquely Japanese and weird regarding sexuality.

Nobody in Japan batted an eye at Lady Adachi banging one of her handmaidens on the side, after all.

The Shogunate removed his interview with Antony Cummins and Thomas Lockley regarding Yasuke beacuse one of them got doxed and harassed at his work place.

Hey guys, I wanted to provide an update and some more clarification regarding the recent decision to take down the interview between Antony Cummins and Thomas Lockley regarding the topic of Yasuke.

First off, I want to thank everyone for all the support you have shown during this time. It is very reassuring to see all the positivity that people have shown over the past couple of days regarding the past message and decision.

I also want to address some of the criticism I have seen, where people have described taking the video down as “letting the bad guys win”. I want to make it clear that this was not an easy decision and one that had been discussed for a week prior to when I decided to take the video down.

This was a decision made primarily based on the fact that harassment outside of YouTube was ongoing, as one of the individuals in the interview has been continually harassed both personally and at his place of work. So needless to say, this is a very serious matter and has affected his career and mental health. These attacks against him have not let up and are still ongoing. This also treads into another common response I’ve seen where people have been saying “just turn the comments off.” Doing this would have certainly stopped the influx of rude, insulting, and misinformed comments which were appearing on YouTube but would not have stopped the continued harassment outside of YouTube. Basically, it was not such a simple solution.

However, for those of you who do still want a chance to experience the video, I have decided to reupload it elsewhere. I discussed this with the individuals in the interview and it seems the best bet currently to have it anywhere on the internet and in a more safe and secure environment may be to place it on Patreon. Where subscribing to any paid tier will immediately grant you access to the interview. I know it is not ideal or fair to lock the video behind a paywall but this is where it would likely be the most secure and still available for individuals truly interested in checking it out. Once again, I am sorry that this whole situation has occurred but this is unfortunately the world we live in. Hopefully in the future this topic will deescalate and be easier to discuss openly without the threat of hate and harassment.

Ah yes, the "tolerants" are at it again.

The Shogunate always seemed kind of questionable to me. His Sengoku Jidai series was pretty entertaining, but I'm pretty sure he isn't actually Japanese and put on his best DBZ impersonation after Episode 1 for the clicks. That, and he used the Samurai Warriors art for figures like Imagawa Yoshimoto, Takeda Shingen and Uesugi Kenshin, which seemed amateur. Was he even skeptical during the interview? Or did he just let him say whatever rubbish he wanted?

Another disappointing turn for a YouTube group I followed for a while was Kings and Generals. They occasionally made immature and poorly-timed modern jokes on historical retelling, but that Shinobi video is a doozy. They completely sold out to sucking Ubisoft's cock like an amateur fan video, and upon seeing it I saw they made a Yasuke video years before the fact. A quick bibliography check showed one of their primary sources was an article from a Black Japanese lady seven years ago (i,e.: someone who benefits from peddling this horseshit). Unfortunately, when you're a historical documentary group on YouTube, seeing this shit naturally calls into question just how many of their other videos are woefully inaccurate.

There's a real possibility that to western normies Yasuke will be the only 'samurai' they know by name.

Think about that.

Here's another video concerning AC: Shadows:

This is garbage. Now apparently some japanese politician is involved? Yes, the game might be shitty but involving the government is bad. Very bad. Idk how powerful this guy is or if he is just a right wing loon with no power. Why are nips allowed to steal from western history and use it how they want but westerners can't? There is so much badly written japanese media involving western history, imagine western politicians sperging out & making laws based on that.

Everyone celebrating politicians getting involved is a fucking retard.

Of course this could also be fake news. I hope it is.

It's about you being retarded? I agree. Every country has the right to protect its culture from being distorted and rewritten by filthy commies.
Shadows is gay as fuck but I don't want a world where anything no matter how retarded is censored by the man.

if "the man" is still the local government, not some globohomo entity. for all their talk about "cultural appropriation" leftshits have no qualms making shit up wholesale. if your grandma tells you cleopatra was black, that overrides scientific and historical fact after all.

but the west has no culture, and the one it does is problematic and needs to be rewritten anyway...?
seriously, are they gonna raise a stink before or after they sue themselves for pozzing shit up and injecting blacks into everything?
