For her to be sectioned — and then to be sectioned for more than two days — they would have hard evidence that she was suicidal and posed a serious threat to herself and/or others. With just how scarce mental health resources are, you have to spend ages arguing with the NHS to section someone and deal with multiple people stating “their suicidal thoughts can be dealt with through community care.” Then, when you manage to get someone sectioned the NHS routinely release people early when they clearly still are unwell and pose a danger to themselves.

Just echoing what @Poonocchio has said. The NHs just now is in such dire straights that even people who have made an attempt on their lives get let go the same day. As in, active attempt to kill themselves that required police to stop it. Assessed and taken home, and the crisis intervention team never bother to turn up unless family follow up and almost threaten them with legal action. Things are BAD just now. If this guy was detained and watched like this he did more than just threaten suicide. There is literally no resource available to do this with anyone other than the very dangerous

Troons spent years trying to deceive people into thinking mean trannies mad about genital preferences were boogeymen, but at the end of the day all their arguments have boiled down to is "you just need to learn how to have sex with trannies", "just ignore it. why are you so bothered it's even there when you don't have to touch it?" and "oh so what you mean is you have a genital exclusion", etc etc etc etc etc

And the answer to all of them regardless of who you are is: Nigger, I have a genital requirement. If what I want isn't there or if something I don't want is there you're automatically disqualified. Also I think the difference is that kink can be "non sexual sometimes " such as if you're a particular comic artist who thought it was okay to trace a baby for his kink art, but a fetish is almost always pornographic.
