Maybe I'm just misremembering but I swear I recall hearing about a rule against cosplaying publicly in areas like Tokyo or Osaka or something. Or that you needed some kind of permission to do it. Basically meaning unless it's some kind of event you're not allowed.

Partially true: it is some copywrite law deal

All the articles I found are from 2021. I don’t know if it is enforced or not. There are apparently permits you can apply for to use these characters.

Not that I'm aware of. The only recent law I remember seeing is that certain roads in Kyoto are closed off to tourists because they keep trying to take pictures of the Geisha and Maiko as they go about their days.

But who knows? I've never cosplayed in Japan or any place else.
This is actually 100% true. The overcrowding of tourist lead to a lot of "antisocial behaviour" being directed towards the Geishas and Maikos.

I hope if he ever moves to Japan he'll try and get into another poly circle over there. I don't really know the consensus on poly relationships over there but it can't be anything but frowned upon. Plus, I feel like starting a relationship with one person is difficult enough, let alone three or four

Metokur commentated over the classic Chibi clip where his mother tells him to stop streaming because pizza is getting delivered while he plays some Mario golf game as an example of what can happen when the father is no longer in the picture for Father's Day.

Hasn't he already reacted to that stuff 3 times before at the very least?
Has he ever reacted to any of the new stuff? If not I wish he would instead of constantly redoing the old stuff.

I'd love to hear his reaction to him awkwardly playing Mario Golf AGAIN in the middle of the night in his japanese hotel room, bing bing wahooing while everyone else is trying to fucking sleep.

Yeah, I believe he's reacted to it at least twice besides this coverage, and the newest content he's reacted to from Chibi was when he reacted to the Japanese TV clip alongside some other newish stuff (I want to say he covered some of the catfish leaks while emphasizing how this predator wants to be a school teacher in Japan).

His mother's definitely too easy on Chibi but she is a bit more of a victim than not. She's just your average technophobe boomer parent that doesn't understand how the internet works, and even with a Dad Chibi couldn't be tamed. He'd still be speedrunning a Mario RPG at 3am and getting catfished every second if he was around

PL, but as an American expat in Japan myself, it's hilarious that this retard wanted to waste his money and live in the direct metros in Japan - the rural areas are so cheap here he would've been able to make enough money to afford the transportation cost to go wherever he wanted to in Japan anyways.
What's more it's really a lovely area. And it would force Chibi to not only work on his Japanese and communication skills but to actually interact with true and honest Japanese people and not nerds. But the truth is that wasn't what he wanted. Chibi wanted to essentially live the life of one of his video game characters. The man might like Japan but he likes all the superficial aspects of it.
