I think the only drag act that gets a pass from me is Lily Savage, and I think it's because although she's sweary and rude, she's so tame by modern standards and completely non-sexual, and Paul O'Grady was, by all accounts, such a lovely, kind-hearted person.
You get the impression, with Lily, that rather than being a hypersexualised caricature based on porn, like most modern drag acts today, she's formed from his observations of his mother, aunties and other older women he would have lived around, growing up as a working class lad from Birkenhead. He's not trying to be sexy, he's trying to be funny.
