IANAL but I don't think "the guy was being an asshole to me" would cut it for probable cause of DUI. People can be assholes without having any drugs in them. The cop can force you to get out of the car if he wants to, but if it's clear that you're not going to be cooperative and he doesn't have any other basis for reasonable suspicion of a crime, it's probably not worth it to him. That would be my reading of the situation at least.

Just a note that if you can read a house number in the States, there are websites that tie into property records and can give you EVERY address in the state/city with that number.

It is helpful in narrowing down locations when you know the general area to a few hundred or dozen at most.

I’ve had my insurance cancelled for speeding tickets before. The company literally called me up and said I was too high risk to continue serving. I never caused or had an accident, and until that point my account was in good standing. I had to get bullshit high-risk insurance that ended up costing me 3x normal. Had to have it for 3 years before the company would reconsider. That was for 4 tickets within a 9 month period.

I do wonder if Rackets’ suspected lack of insurance is voluntary at this point. I wouldn’t be surprised if he received a similar call.
