Since he seems to be at least abstaining from heavy alcohol use I think this stream really highlights how manipulative Nick is when he's not fully fucked up. When he has even a single atom of sobriety in him, he will lie, deflect, omit, seethe, blame and suicide bate at every possible moment to avoid any and all accountability.

Further, he manipulates by saying things like "I would love too but...", or "I wish I could but...."
It's surprisingly transparent and totally disgusting.
You are describing almost every lawyer I have ever had to deal with (and in my prior line of work I had to deal with many). I swear they are all made in the same factory.

I suppose it makes sense that manipulative attitudes are common among lawyers when a good chunk of their job revolves around finding any and every excuse on why an obvious guilty person is not guilty (even with hard evidence). It's not like all the shady lawyer jokes are born out of nothing after all.

"You only have one side of the story"
Nick, your side of the story is "all the cops are lying"
And the person that did the drug test, the clergy at the church, Kayla's sister, and Camelot when he said Nick was doing blow and hookers

He says they're all lying too

His fans really are retarded to believe that over all the evidence and Nick's erratic behavior being explained as drug use

For Nick to even have a PRAYER of proving these charges wrong and getting out scot free, he would need to prove that:

1. The cops were lying when they said they found a full fucking ounce of coke, guns, spent shells, trackmarks on Nick's arms and other drug paraphernalia.
2. His sister-in-law and four congregation members were all lying when they said they saw Nick acting drunken and erratic.
3. Those same above five people + everyone else in the congregation who had noticed were lying when they said they saw that his kids were wearing the same dirty clothes over and over again.
4. His kids were lying when they told other adults they were starved.
5. The forensic scientists in the lab were lying when they said they found extremely high levels of coke residue in their 8 year old daughter's hair test
and God knows however many other sources with evidence that point to him being a drug-addicted sexual deviant who's unfit to raise any of his children.

Nick must be full-blown clinically delusional at this point, there's no way he'd be able to disprove ANY of this barring a literal miracle in his favor that somehow explains ALL OF THE ABOVE without having ANY of it be his fault.

Maybe his elementary school kids were actually running the biggest midwestern microschooling drug operation under his nose the entire time, who knows?

And everything that Aaron has said would have to be a lie. FWIW - I believe him. I do think he’s likely holding back some of the worst stuff to protect himself for either legal reasons or sheer embarrassment.

I know locals is full of crazy people but I still don't get how anyone was still on the Nick train even before his arrest. I get the hate watching since it has been fun joking about his decline. But I find it hard to conceptualize, let alone accept, that people were watching Nick slur and fumble and pass out and become incoherent most streams as if that he was functioning normally. It's even more baffling post arrest due to how public his fuck ups have been.

I really can't understand it. Honestly. It's almost sci-fi-esque in my failure to comprehend.

Nick's given up trying to convince people with actual brains and is just targeting those retarded enough to stick by him that would believe that literally all of that is true.

He's just gonna deny forever because they'll believe it, even if he's convicted with evidence.

Ralph still has simps, so Nick, who was wildly more popular, certainly has some people who have formed unbreakable parasocial relationships with him.

The theory of Barnes and probably Nick is that if they can prove that the children were not being harmed (actual harm), they can get the warrant thrown out which throws out all the drugs which ends the case.

Nick insists that there was nothing wrong whatsoever with the children.
Barnes has claimed that CPS should only have done a voluntary wellness check and that a search warrant was legally unjustified in the situation.

Part of the argument seems like it will be that wearing dirty clothes or being a little bit extra hungry does not constitute actual harm of the children.

None of this will work even for a minute in court IMO. Any competent attorney would advise Nick to negotiate a plea deal in these circumstances.

I agree, Aaron tells the truth but he skews the tone he says it with in order to paint himself as a victim but also a totally epic gigachad who was fucking Nick's wife while she fell in (totes fr) love with him
