Ok, I’m going to go full blown QAnon here for a minute. I need your patience and if I’m totally fucking crazy just say it.

What if Nick leaked the document?

Could there be a semi-rational reason for him doing this? What are the chances of a person involved in the case…

1) knowing what the Kiwi Farms is?

2) risking leaking the document to the site

Also, how easy would it be to replace the kids results to a positive result?

But why?

1) Nick could use this entire fiasco for leverage against both KF and the court system.

2) Nick himself has the power to verify authenticity

3) Nick can then take legal action against Family Services and the court, possibly causing a massive upheaval. He can at least get a new person from Family Services to take over. That can cause all sorts of delays.

Because my brain is simple, let me give you my inner dialogue verbatim so you can understand how insanely stupid I may be.

Let’s say the document is 100% accurate and unaltered. He could just as easily make the same claim and have it possibly work. Matter of fact, this almost seems like it could be a nice Hail Mary for the Family Services investigation. Nick knows there’s no way out of this, soooooo leak the document to bring doubt to the integrity of the system. Government operatives do this all of the time and it works. The only people that would have access to this with child names unredacted are parties involved directly and court or family services. Which one of them has anything to gain? Which one has any motivation to do this? And if it was someone involved and taking a huge risk like this, wouldn’t they at least redact the kids names?

Maybe I’m nuts and getting too conspiratorial here. I’m open to that. The leaking of this document is immensely helpful for Nick in the investigation itself. Attack the integrity of the process and make it unimpeachable. Force the system into a shakeup. Nick truly believes he’s smarter than everyone else and this is the type of thing narcissists do.

Here's a thought, might have been articulated here before, relatively dark.
If the kid "accidentally'" got to the cocaine stash she'd have overdosed, kids have no fucking idea what safe amounts of anything are or what drugs are, she'd have taken tons. The fact that she had long time usage (evidenced by micro dose amounts in hair) and she is still alive heavily implies she was given it by someone at a consistent basis.

I would love to hear a logical counter theory to this, looking at you Nick, feel free to explain it any time.

What if Nick leaked the document?

The only way this could be in any way, shape, or form, going in Nick's direction (and even then, it's doubtful) is if the tests were proven incorrect afterwards.
This is a somewhat old document after all.

Most people will take a Fed report at face value, and you have to be retarded to think that people will go along with your conspiracy theory without you telling them.
Fortunately, Nick's hard work has paid off with retardation, so your idea is possible.

b) Nick and Kayla do not submit themselves to tests
c) Nick and Kayla did not allow CPS full access to the house

So what if it's been leaked. So what if it's unfair. If the conditions at home are such that a child accessed narcotics, and the parents are not willing to cooperate with CPS, they ain't getting children back. Or at least - they shouldn't. At this stage it's a matter of their welfare and not of who's right or wrong.
If Nick and Kayla would have been completely clean and willing to create a safe space for the kids, they would cooperate to the fullest extent, from day 1.

If that's the case, this means there's 2 possibilities in my mind.

1. The kids were witnessing them do it and the 9 year old replicated what they had seen the adults in the house doing.

2. The kids weren't exposed to it and when they got hold of it and thought it was sugar or something and ate it.
