Unlikely. She would have had to eat an improbably large amount of cocaine for the hair test to turn out that way. The test is designed not only to detect cocaine but to approximate the amount of cocaine usage over time that a person is engaged in. The test can tell the difference between a regular user and a very infrequent user.

If the test was done correctly, there really isn't any way to explain this other than her taking cocaine or being exposed to extreme amounts of cocaine in her enviornment. I mean if the coke coming from the dealer was prepared every time by one of the women with the child sitting on their lap, maybe you get there. But it still seems improbable.

And to say the obvious, Nick was running a trap house. Abusing kids and bad things happening to kids is how those places work.

Honestly the worst case scenario is that they were actually abusing that child and giving her drugs and alcohol in order to make her pliable.

What if minimising the sentance requires you prove them wrong is some regards? If Nick is right he should not be punished as badly.

It might not be about morals. It might be he’ll get hit with a unjust sentance if he does not fight this and then everyone thinks he did something he did not.

What are you specifically saying he is fighting? We dont even know if he´s being accused of anything related to the cocaine daughter? Okay, just to play devil's advocate here, the most reasonable explanation for a positive hair follicle test may be that the metabolites are the result of a prescription medication.

In support of this,

• Being prescribed Adderall is a valid defense as to why urinalysis will test positive for methamphetamine (which is not cocaine, but there are similar cases with cocaine).
• 9-year-old had narcolepsy, where stimulants may be prescribed. Unsure, but I think also ADHD?
• If she is the only one prescribed a -caine suffix medication, that would explain why she is the only one that tested positive.

In argument against this,

• Managing drug addicts is effectively the #1 job of the criminal justice system. I find it difficult to believe that the tests do not pull a list of her prescriptions and cross-reference that against her results, especially in the extraordinary case of a 9-year-old testing positive.
• This defense does effectively require the state to lie by omission.

If she was temporarily prescribed a -caine suffix medication like Lidocaine or Novacaine for a routine procedure, that may not show up on her Rx list but would be in her system? But if that's true, would it show up in the quantities demonstrated by the results?

Amide anaesthetics won't ping a false positive for cocaine. There aren't any medications that will. The most plausible scenario where the kid wasn't using cocaine is that the lab techs just completely shat their pants and and mixed up her paperwork with a crackhead's somehow.

I don't know if it would have to be an extremely large amount since she's only 9 years old but it was evidently enough over a period of time that she didn't suffer an overdose (at least that we are aware of). I'm curious how these test results look for babies that are born addicted to cocaine.

Nick just stated that "sensitive documents were released about my family" after he announced tonight's stream.

Nick stated that the documents were supposed to be protected and he's going to have an attorney inquire into what happened. So if this was publicly available to anyone, court staff fucked up majorly. if it wasn't available publicly, someone in particular is going to get fucked for being an idiot

I just need a confirmation that if this leak is illegal in any way it will not complicate the case for the prosecution, cos if it does that would suck.

Tonight Nick went after CPS on stream making serious accusations against them and then calling out one person in CPS by name. The stream tonight was so unhinged and so overtly unrepentant that it could perhaps justify any action CPS or the courts suggest. I think he legally lost any hope of a good outcome for him and his wife in the CPS proceedings by doing that tonight.

Nick also made it really clear that in all the legal proceedings he intends to seek no deal or accommodation with the government. He wants to fight everything to the bitter end.

He really gives off the impression that he doesn't care one bit about either his wife or his kids. Its all about him and his ego.

And I hope he doesn't try to capitalise on the leak and it becomes his advantage. This unhinged behavior sort of suggest that's his intent.

Stimulants are often prescribed for ADHD yes, because they often have the opposite effect. It's why Adderall is so prevalent. Just wanted to throw that out there.

Not trying to be argumentative, but wouldn't the leaked evidence be presented during trial to any jury anyway? I'm not sure how leaking legitimate evidence in a case taints a jury if it's evidence that was going to be presented regardless. I agree with the judicial bias argument but that would require conclusively determining it was a court agent, and apparently the document was accessible via a public terminal.

The Cathars were burned for less than this. Nick created a situation in his home where his kids were neglected so he could play Epstein in his bedroom with the help. He's also caused his 8 year old daughter to have a level of cocaine in her system consistent with regular use.
