That's very true of Nick, so it only stands to reason that Nick loves to play good (busy!) Christian dad for both the asspats as well as for what it lets him get away with.

Therefore, Nick will do something that benefits his child if it helps cover his ass, and if it makes him feel like such a wonderful, great, progressive martyr dad who's been wronged by all of those fascist CPS stalkers and their Scandinavian bootlickers. Not really rocket science, just assume that this is the most self-centred middle aged asshole on planet Earth each time and you'll be correct 100% of the time.

Wouldn't his current neglect charge already be the criminal charge? In fact, Nick and Kayla both only received a single neglect charge and not five of them, which you'd expect given they have five children. It seems to me that those endangerment charges would have multiplied by now, but they out it out as a blanket and kept it only once because of the 9 year old? Or additional charges could get added.

I am so happy to see rekeita confirm that he is gonna fight this to the end, I made a post early on that I hoped he would take this to trial with drink in hand, I said it was wishful thinking. My God is powerful indeed that he would grant such an amazing and entertaining object lesson.

More pure speculation but you guys are overlooking the older siblings as a potential source of cocaine in the 8yo. I’d hope at 16 the eldest would be too mature for that at this point but i think there is a 12yo and a 14yo? and that in my experience as an elder sibling is prime age for making your annoying younger siblings who won’t leave you alone do stupid shit for your amusement. I know i made my siblings ingest some unwise substances as a dare or prank in my time, luckily for them our parents were not in the habit of leaving cocaine around.
But at 12 and 14 the kids probably have more of a situational awareness around drugs than an 8yo and are also at the age where this shit is very funny, especially for kids who up to this point grew up in privileged and untroubled household so probably haven’t actually seen anyone OD or have any negative consequences of drugs.
Hey let’s make little sister do lines of funny powder! is something that a tween left to their own devices for hours on end while the parents are busy being degenerates in their bedroom is absolutely capable of thinking up
