I'll admit I'm curious to see what route they go. Option a is to use real facts but twisted a little, which will only serve to show how overblown the whole thing was. Option b is to completely make shit up, which will be hard to do with the phone video evidence. Either way it would get people talking about it and picking apart the flaws.

Option c is to cancel the project after the research phase reveals it was not what the producer imagined.

It appears that the NeverTrump vote has latched onto RFK as the best candidate.they likely would vote for Biden without the RFK option. I am quite interested in the debates now. Trump will be appealing to vulnerable sections of Biden's vase while many on the fence and leaning Biden voters will be looking for conformation on his health. Any even moderate fuckup could give both Trump and RFK significant boosts all to Bidens detriment

Boomers are obsessed with muh respectability not unlike losing with dignity and principles. All the Cold War and post-9/11 propaganda and media played up the respectability in being a president while having to deal with wild eyed opposition from the fringes within politics here or internationally. The West Wing is probably the best portrayal of the ideal president to those 50 or older.

It also needs to be reinforced here that there are dozens of millions of Americans that are benefiting from the current system: shitskins getting gibs, shiftless losers on disability, government bureaucrats who get a steady and reliable paycheck for pushing paper around, cat ladies who feel empowered to force their ideology onto others, and suburban dweebs who only care about muh 401k. They might be deebly goncerned about inflation but that doesn’t mean they think the grass is greener on the other side by voting Republican.

So yeah, Trump losing support amongst 65+ year olds makes sense. Boomers have always been in favor of yanking the ladder up whenever possible, that’s not going to go away anytime soon. They’re going to vote for whoever is most likely going to keep rolling out those social security checks and fully fund and expand Medicare.
