Has he shown any sort of unique relationship with Nick or provided any information about Nick that didn't repeat what has come from other sources?
It is almost certain that the swinger thing was an open secret in streamer circles around Nick.
There was the Imholte thing. Aaron says he already knew their "reputation" beforehand.
But what reputation? You'd have to watch Kino Casino/MATI or read Kiwi Farms to know about the Hedonism II and swinger stuff.
When he was pressed by PPP about what specifically he knew in terms of Rekieta's "reputation" he got rattled and clammed up. He couldn't really express what about Nick and Kayla Rekieta's "reputation" he knew about. He eventually offered the words "Internet lore" and nothing more.
I have a feeling he was just straight up told by somebody, and I have some guesses as to which group of people in particular might have shared Rekieta's "reputation" with him.
Let's get real. In all likelihood there was a whisper network and everyone knew about his "secret" sex and drugs lifestyle. At 2:24 he claims to Sean that he and his wife have "always been monogamous". This was November 29th 2023
A month earlier he'd met Aaron and April, the couple he and his wife are confirmed to have been swinging with by Aaron, April still living with the Rekietas to this day, and within a month they'd be streaming from his house, and within 2 the infamous hot tub stream would happen. I have no doubt in my mind that they were swinging at this point.
I know, grass is green, the sky is blue, Nick lies, but it's crazy in retrospect to see how blatantly and effortlessly he lies.
Welcome to the Nick Rekieta thread. Yes he lies. The dry humor of his blatant lying is part of the entertainment, but the lies flat-out denying the swinging and non-monogamous shit was always less funny because they were always pure lie blanket denials.
The more fun lies are when he is being partly truthful but still dishonest. This is something he LOVES to do, I'm pretty sure he likes partly telling the truth, it makes him feel like he's gettiing one over on people.
The most prominent example that comes to mind was when he said he was going to "a beach out west" and it turned out to be Hedonism II again (located on the western coast of Jamaica).
There were also the stories he would tell on a regular basis about being in a "bar" and people trying to pick up him and/or his wife. Ironically I think those basically stopped around the time the polycule became a thing.

Why should he have any appreciation for the art? The paintings look like shit and they literally looked better on the floor leaning up against the wall compared to his new setup were you can get a good look at the full paintings.
