One of the missing things in Nick's final texts with Aaron before he got kicked out of the polycule was Nick's ranting about how Aaron was a liar and had been lying in particular to Kayla.

Aaron provided something that perhaps partially explains what this about about. Kayla had apparently given Aaron a copy of the book "Pawverbs" to read. An important book apparently to Kayla.
