I don't think this is a major contributing factor judging by how many were isolated during 2020-2023. Everyone was chronically online and people realized that most colleague/class mates etc are not really friends. It's still a bad situation to be in since it can make you socially vulnerable, but it's not something that leads to trooing out necessarily.

it's 2024 and I'm still isolated! Not talking about the pandemic itself but like all my chances at getting stuff done and support from friends fell out post lockdown hell. Nobody's propping each other up anymore out of a rough spot for lack of a better way of putting stuff. been trying to get shit done myself like other people apparently managed to but I keep getting pushed back down into stagnation by shit out of my control, or people posted to higher positions in life seeking minute drops of clout, and it's actually fucking with me. Speaking from my welding experience and a accident where my vacuum was off in my booth that left me without my voice for over a month, proper ventilation when dealing with chemicals and gases is no joke. Some can kill, some can injure you, some can induce hallucinations, it all depends on what it is and how long you've been exposed. In large quantities it can displace the air and cause suffocation.
