That's not what I said. The point I'm trying to make is that the situation that the Rekietas and Imholtes found themselves in isn't really that far off from being identical to your local crack head. Drexel took the virginity of a girl he'd taken to disneyland, he knew her from the age of 13 and was in a father role with her. Just cause he waited till she was legal doesn't mean he's not a fucking creep and a groomer, and Nick let that guy around his kids. Drexel took the girl to a BDSM dungeon because he said she'd confided in him about BDSM fantasies, which implies they had been talking about sexual shit prior to the age of 18. If you're friends with a guy who grooms kids, it implies that you are ok to some extent with grooming kids, even kids who you are a father figure to.

Him being resentful about his parents not letting him in on their sex life makes it more likely he has tried to include his kids, even if just through TMI conversations, it's weird and inappropriate. If you're already used to crossing boundaries like that with your kids, it's more likely you're gonna cross more boundaries when you're completely fucked up on drugs.
