Perhaps NJB will like to talk about driver training?

As to public transit, my cousin visited my sister in Los Angeles. They decided to have a girls day and visit the Wes Anderson exhibition in Santa Monica.

Now traffic around that area an absolute nightmare so they decided to take the metro.

Their experiences?

On the way there, there was this awful Negro that rode the metro for two stops but started smoking pot halfway through their journey.

The way back was even worse. As it was getting dark, their were more homeless people on the train as they usually ride the rails until they close. So what happens?

This fucking bum reaches into his ass crack and withdraws his hand. The tips of his fingers are covered in shit and he proceeds to smear it on the wall of the tram. With it being summer, the AC is barely keeping the tram in the mid 70s, so as the ride continues everyone is treated to whiffs of hobo shit.

This was not the only issue as another awful Negro was standing in the rear of the train playing some mumble rap but probably got tired of the smell of shit blowing back on him so they moved forward to here my sister and cousin were.

A Hispanic gentleman asked the Nigger to turn off his music but the Nigger just as got in the Hispanic guys face and ask him what he was going to do?

Nothing.

The Hispanic guy didn't do anything even after him and another female tried to plead common courtesy to the Nigger. So everyone just sat on the tram and accepted it.

After all, what could they do?

Fight the nigger and be branded a racist? Be arrested and spend the night in jail?

Finally, you get a group of you Hispanic teens boarding in East LA while eating. While that might not be a problem, they left all their containers and cups on the seat. The same Hispanic gentleman tried to say something but the only response was a middle finger as group left the train. Near the end my cousin had to get up and give her seat to some Abuela that got on.

Those raised hands need to be holding bricks.
Where are their bricks??
Time to reset the "Days without fuck cars advocating for vandalism/violence" counter to 0. Is there anything in their caveman brains that doesn't default to "I don't like it so I must destroy"? I don't look at a cyclist and think, "Boy I better get my stick ready to put though his wheels".

Didn't they try to claim that the carbrains were the ones trying to be violent to them before? I could probably make a collage of posts fuckcars has made advocating for vandalism or violence at this point.

but i just said driver should yield to pedestrians
Isn't that the whole point of sticking their hand in the air so that the driver is aware? They do yield to pedestrians, just not if you're darting out into the road at random places.

I like how Taiwan's policy is just asking people to be courteous to each other and reddit is like "no I want to find a way to become the biggeset disruptive asshole for no reason".

Odd how Reddit completely doesn't give a shit about fuckcars actively brigading other reddits, proselytizing like Christfags about how more morally superior "walkable cities and public transit" are, and then advocate for violence, but any reddit calling out DEI fucks is closed almost immediately.
It's because r/fuckcars capes for trannies. They support rapist men in dresses so they can do no wrong.

Except that Ford Motor Co. Vs Dodge bothers is where we get the legal requirement that corporations are beholden to financially support stockholders above all else. They sued on behalf of Jewish bankers who would then give them the money to start Dodge Motor Company.

Again, it's just jews saying not to believe your lying eyes.
Except now that every business school in the world now teaches Stakeholder capitalism (which includes employees, suppliers and customers, government and NGO groups) in addition to just shareholders.

The worst part is they'll make the brick argument while trying to argue that open-carry is for sociopaths.

I've said this before but public transit works best in societies with cohesive unity and high social trust. Meanwhile, Reddit will find a way to undermine that in every way possible—break traffic laws, degenerate substance abuse, simping for criminals...and then accuses motorists of being "closed off" from the world.

Yeah they also teach Business Ethics as well. Stop listening to what people say and look at what they do.

There's one Taiwanese member of /r/fuckcars who hates the country because it is too "carbrained" for him:
This post of his (which did get some upvotes) is particularly hilarious: complaining that electric gas bikes use bike lanes:

The first thing you need to understand about Taiwan is that they are "Scooterbrained". Scooters are the main mode of personal transport and Taiwan has a lot of infrastructure catering to them like scooter parking lots, scooter lanes, or in this case separate roads. Their not in the bike lane, he is in the scooter lane.

But it also begs the question why he is walking a fairly long bridge instead of taking public transit that will get him across...

They all don't show up this far out but there are several MRT stations that can get him across the river and links directly to other lines so he can get around.

Taiwanese drivers (Scooter and Car) are actually kinda insane and do get into accidents a lot. With pedestrians they do cut pretty close if they are turning while you are crossing. Making sure they see you and you see them is paramount. Also I wouldn't recommend brick thing in a country as litigious as Taiwan, especially as a foreigner.

Asian drivers suck at driving?
Lol lmao.
Yeah, they don't really practice defensive driving and don't pay that much attention to who's behind them. When my family came to visit they saw two scooter crashes on their first day. Also I think more first aid training would do them good. I remember a scooter got t-boned by a car on my way back to work and the driver got out and was trying to sit the scooter guy up while he was doing a weird twitch.

/r/fuckcars member wants to live in the world of Splatoon (archive):
This is pretty much just CWCville for urbanists. It doesn't have to make sense because it's not real. In a fictional world it ignores a lot of things in the name of fantasy, unlike the real world where people have actual needs outside of fulfilling an art design. It's pure wish fulfillment

Free public transportation, land transportation... between countries. I'm just saying, if a country doesn't make you pay a toll for that service, that is fucking retarded from a bridge maintenance perspective, because presumably this bridge is getting used a fuck ton.

This kind of thing exists (most road crossings into the USA are "free") and in the Schengenengeghengengnegne or whatever the fuck they call Nazi Germany now (why the fuck does it sound like Shenzhen) you even have public transit between countries. They have joint agreements to manage it (usually with a bridge, like even interstate bridges in the USA, one state maintains it and the other pays them for "their half).

All this stuff works if it's "roughly equal" - when it becomes unequal for some reason because it's used by one side only or something, then there are complains and fights.
