Both of these incidents happened in 2017, its now years later that its all getting dredged up.
I don't think so. He announced cheating on his wife in 2017, but the twitch ban was in 2020 i think situations were different incidents

Edit glossed over the years lol

You really deserve a threadban, you sperg. If you're going to leave, leave rather than scorn ex-ing.

Then ask for my ban. No one's stopping you from tattling to the thread mods that someone's hurting your feefees. Also, telling someone that they should be banned from a 3 post old account is very, very stupid. Try harder.

So he did talk to a minor then. If that slip in his message is to be believed. He also implies the texts got risque or mature. If these facts are true, why did Twitch settle? I understand cause be cheaper then going to court, but wouldn't Twitch have right to ban with this?
Spending several years and millions of dollars on a lawsuit isn't worth the hassle for a corporation that's already hemorrhaging millions.

And if they won the lawsuit, what then? Doc's reputation would be in the shitter and he would've also been spending absurd amounts of money on the case, so Twitch collecting any legal fees from Doc would be a pipe dream.

You should read the response, he said he sent the messages in 2017 himself. I agree its probably separate, but they happened around the same time.

Now the big reveal is a just tweet that's literally just 'trust me bro'.
What’s interesting is that this all could’ve stemmed from a single person’s whisper campaign. I’m holding out until we see evidence and the full context.
I don't think he was texting a minor or at least didn't know.
:story: You wouldn't be looking so stupid right now if you had evaluated what BOTH sides were saying (and not saying), made logical inferences, and put the broom down.

(No particular offense to anyone being quoted. I just picked them at random, it was all over this thread.)

What this smells like to me is that he did not know it was a minor.
Literally, put the broom down. You don't think he would put the exculpatory information in his massive statement front and center?

You can infer that Guy as a 35 year old man had inappropriate messages with a minor based on his own words.
And yet some people are having difficulty PUTTING THE BROOM DOWN.

:stress:

Him pulling the word "minor" from the tweet only to put it back in really shows what kind of game he's playing. I firmly believe he's stupid enough to think that would've worked as a cover-up and X didn't have a tweet version history.
Or he could've said "17 year old", but I have a feeling there's a reason he didn't say that, since she was probably younger.

Wasn't defending, I still think he was cheating or something. Just minor part I was iffy about with it being hearsay till Dr. Disrespect announced it hours later.

Yeah, a lot of ground that a 35 year old man should not be covering with a minor under any circumstances.

The only way any of this goes down in a way where I don’t think Guy is a massive piece of shit is if he didn’t know the persons age. But, like I said, his big tweet would have been the best opportunity to clear that up.
which doc still talking to a lawyer & believing NDA still matters.

Yeah wait, so twitch held on this info or didn't dig till 2020?
Held the info and didn't need to dig.

So how aware of their age at the time was he? I'm sure Twitch would impose an 18+ rule for something like this. On the other end why was an at the time married man getting saucy in Twitch DM's of all things and honestly believe it wouldn't bite him in the ass?

I want to see the messages. And how the hell did Doc get a settlement if it was cut and dry, preying on a minor? If was trying to deal the deal on a minor, and knowing they’re a minor, Twitch would’ve laughed him out of court and said “ok, now we’re calling the cops”. I feel like we are missing a lot of information. Also, I hope Destiny gets raped by any available thug shaker immediately
Unless the minor came out and said “hello, I am underage”, that’s not the kind of preying courts care about. The odds are the conversation started and DD didn’t do his due diligence early enough. Every girl I know has a story where guys in there 20s approached them when they were 16/17 and immediately fucked off once they realized the age.

Once the statutory rape has occurred, “I didn’t know” isn’t really a defense. When there’s not even physical contact though, legally it’s extremely tricky.

We’re gonna have to see the messages. Even the word “preying” is the kind of statement that might get twitch into legal trouble and when they are nuking is income too, over private messages, they are about to make public, that is an awfully hot coffee pot.

Exactly
The question is did Doc know beforehand?
Did Twitch know & informed him of the issue?

Never forget that the Rainbow Coalition on Twitter were giddy at the idea of a minor being harmed so they could "own" their political enemies. They only care about child endangerment when it doesn't come from their side.
Never forget that Slasher knew about the sexting of a minor for 4 years, never said anything about it and never disclosed that the source of the story was a friend of his who worked at Twitch (someone who he knew for multiple years).
Never forget that Cody made a whole joke about this situation calling it a bit when everyone was calling him out for his tweets where he hid the information behind a paywall so he can get more concert tickets.
Never forget that everyone around Slasher's circle knew about the same story and they as well DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING.
Never forget that Twitch knew about Doc's inappropriate convos with a minor and decided to hide it with a settlement and they decided to pay the rest of his contract.

All in all, everyone in this situation should die.

What I don't understand is if he didn't know her age why doesn't he just mention that? I get the feeling he knew
