I don't know if this is true because i don't use twitch but apparently there was an 18+ requirement to use whispers back in the day on twitch. I'm not gonna mince words, if you control a platform, and that platform has a messaging service; the people who hold the power can look at what you talk about. Twitch was a platform, Twitch has a DM/Whisper function, the Twitch Mods can see what you type. Which is why I'm not letting Twitch walk from this; Destiny used them as a fucking escort service and undoubtedly talked to underage girls in there, but he always toed the progressive line so he wasn't hated. Keep in mind, and this was an issue To Catch a Predator had back in the day, is that in many states discussing a meet up even with NSFW messages is not enough to warrant an investigation or arrest. If physical meet up occurs then they are more likely to take action.
