I understand this is a troll but marriage requires work to function well. That is, if you want to be able to stand your spouse and avoid a marriage of convenience. Growing apart is usually due to complacency, typically on both sides to varying extents. Also depends on the personality types involved too.

Gauges are pretty retarded though. I know a few who used to have them in and now have a hole in their earlobes that you’re supposed to pretend to not see. I assume there’s some kind of plastic surgery to restore your earlobes the best they can but it’s dumb to do it in the first place. Having said that, I just assume Scots prefer to be disfigured, whether it be gauges or a Glasgow smile so it’s probably just par for the course there.

Everyone grows apart. It's marriage. If you get married without understanding some day you will want to bury an axe in this man's or woman's head, you are clinically retarded. Sometimes that "some day" is weeks. Sometimes it is months. Some times it is years. That is marriage. If you divorce your husband for "just growing apart", you are not a good wife. You are not a good mother if kids are involved either. You are destroying your household and separating your kids from your father because "the spark is gone". When you get married, you make a vow to yourself, your family, and to God. If you break those vows, then your word is worthless. Thus, you are now worthless. (Of course this excuses the good reasons for divorce, infidelity, violence, substance abuse, etc. etc.)
